I had the same thought. I picked up the Anje deck mainly to break it down for parts, but I ended up liking it and realized how powerful she is as a commander. Now I'm looking at upgrading it significantly and getting nicer storage for it and the Rakdos box here looks perfect

Ultra Pro Satin Towers are type of deck box that are really well-liked - they're super durable and are pretty affordable (around $10). Ultra Pro Eclipse sleeves are high quality card sleeves that are durable, smooth, and have opaque backs (some sleeves are just clear enough to see the card back, which can get you in trouble for using marked cards). They're really good products all-around, and are definitely recommendable.

I know this is a miniscule nitpick, but it's funny that buying the library + nexus combo and the quiver separately saves you one penny over the combo with all 3.
You would think a bundle purchase would cost less to encourage people to spend more than they may otherwise, but nope. They don't get regular pricing, let alone bundle pricing.

Found something interesting for a small easy way to transport 4 decks a mat and some dice waterproof. Harbor freight apache waterproof case. Foam modular cutouts and works great for boulders also only $13.

Gonna drop a +Rep here for Magic Aids' Deck Nut deckboxes. If you were on the fence about buying one, I got it just for the novelty, but was amazed with the quality. I really love the box and can't wait to bust it out at Grand Prix Indianapolis
For the bolts at the very bottom of the Nexus case, you can get some fabric glue and lay down a large microfibre cloth as a ''mat'' so to speak, and have it glued down on the inside to cover the bolts while still providing a very soft, non-scratch area to the bottom.
If it's any help, he has compared Dragon Shield to Eclipse (th-cam.com/video/rp8NhzvtLCo/w-d-xo.html) and said they were roughly equal, and has said he thinks Katana outclasses Eclipse (www.reddit.com/r/magicTCG/comments/amgb2r/tcc_a_review_of_ultimate_guard_katana_vigilant/eflpnas?), so it seems he prefers Katana sleeves. Having said that, they're all great, and you probably can't go wrong with any of them for Magic.

Just recently bought one of those big white boxes that hold thousands of cards. I had my cards in a bunch of old flimsy bundle boxes. Now my wife is appeased!
@Tolarian Community College I will say that, regarding the Grimoire box, I did buy their Adjustable Grimoire Deck Box Organizer which is a wooden insert with multiple adjustment options. With that organizer, my box comfortably fits my Cube which is 360 cards prepacked in the reusable card packs plus plenty of tokens, nice, and a land station.
I imagine people at Ultra Pro all gather round to watch the Proff's review video. They huddle together, lips pursed, palms sweaty and fearful of his final result. When he finally gives their boxes an A, they erupt in cheers and excitement, grabbing at each other, hugging, exclaiming "AN A! AN A! HE GAVE US A BLOODY A!"

That card bearer setup does have a very nice profile if you're going around the city on foot (least I like that much more than the backpacks). And those bottom studs - an issue, but I don't see it being too awful to put in a layered cloth or if you've got some thinner EVA foam, or similar. I know what's going onto my christmas list!
Ultra pro products have never been on the top of my buy list. (Not that it stopped me from buying sleeves or boxes from a Walmart for some of my standard decks.) I'm really glad to see some quality products that I would have never guessed existed.
Hi Prof , you should review a pelican case for valuable commander decks , i have one with two recgame steel boxes and it works awesome, also the sell a cheaper version in harbor freight for $10 for the small one , and they also have a medium size and large. Best decks box is Milwaukee 10 compartment small parts organizer. Perfectly sized to vertically hold sleeved cards and each small compartmemt easily fits a double-sleeved edh/commander deck. Also has longer compartments for tokens/bulk or they can be removed to hold your mat. $20 at Home Depot.
The best part about the new Alcoves is that they will ACTUALLY fit 100+ double sleeved cards. Some sleeves tend to be a bit thicker (looking at Dragon Shields) and sometimes wont fit in boxes that advertise that. With these I've personally tested it and there was even room for an amount of tokens. Really exceptional.

my favorite boxes are the Ultimate guard Boulder boxes, they are fantastic, but you need to sleeve your cards correctly or a 100 card double sleeved deck won't fit into it. but with the right sleeves, they do. another fantastic box is the Ultra Pro Satin tower, so long as you don't use the botom compartment, because it opens very easily in my opinion and f you fill it with dice they may end up all over the table or floor. if you take out the bottom it's a fantastic box. But the Professor has reviewed the Satin tower on his channel and gave it a solid A and besides the easily removable bottom, I agree. But like I said, the Ultimate guard Boulder is my favorite deck box for sure, if your double sleeved deck fits into it, otherwise its a nightmare. The Boulder is the Professor's favorite deck box, or so he says in the video he reviewed it in 2 years ago. Has that changed Professor? It is my favorite box like I said
Man I was really excited to see something like that multi-piece interlocking set. Then I saw the fixed/static interior of that Library thing and was so disappointed. It's such a cool idea that just wasn't executed properly.
all i want in life is a boulder than can hold a commander deck sleeved in dragon shield sleeves with dragon shield sealable inners... and if anyone can recommend a solid sturdy deckbox that can fit a commander deck in those sleeves without being a satin tower style box throw a comment :)

I got the fancy Ultimate Guard Deck Box Holder to hold my $20 Ultimate Guard boxes, it was $80, It has a nice smooth interior and a solid strong leather material for the outside, red on the inside, black on the outside, the Only issue I have with it is that it was designed only to hold those cheap $10 plastic deck boxes, if I try using the Nicer deck boxes that are slightly bigger and have a magnet then the top doesn't close all the way, it has enough room for like 10 decks, plus a small section for dice or loose cards. I still use it to hold my nicer deck boxes but it doesn't fully close all the way because the nicer deck boxes are a bit taller and the lid has a flat top with no extra space like that Spellbook had.

So I have owned the Orzhov and Simic boxes for quite sometime now. Im just coming across this review because I just ordered the Azorious one off TCGPlayer for a whopping $70! Given the year of production I was willing to pay the price given the quality of the other two I have had for a while now. Should be in the mail soon! Cant wait to give Shorikai a new garage ;)
I use a drone bag i got at Toys R Us when they were going outta business it holds 6 Satin towers comfortably and two playmats with a compartment that i can put my spindown lifecounters in. I got tired of waiting for a decent product to carry my commander decks around.
I have the larger Grimoire box and I actually rather like it. I works with the dividers that you might get from an MTG gift set and they also sell a special divider set separately (kinda expensive for what it is but I like it) and it allows me to hold about 5 edh decks with some room for a tokens slot and a compartment for dice.

With every release of Wizard's new project, the Transformers TCG, its players are itching to find the best protection for their oversized character cards. Since the Transformers TCG is relatively new, there isn't much when it comes to deck boxes specifically for oversized cards. I was wondering if you could test already existing products such as Dex Protection or even Monster Protectors. Both have boxes with removable trays that make it seem as if it'd be suitable for oversized cards, but it's always best to check with you first before putting money towards it. If you see this, I hope you can take this into consideration. I also apologize for leaving such a long comment as I could not find another way to contact you. Thanks!

I really enjoyed the ridiculous music and weird rack-zoom when the box went over the front of the desk. It gave the video really hand crafted feel. :)

8:20 you can take the soft end of Velcro’s tape and smooth that out. Work with a lot of network racks and Velcro has a lot of different applications

My favorite guild is a HUGE tie between golgari, dimir, and selesnya. I have traits of all 3 so it's hard to choose one

I got the fancy Ultimate Guard Deck Box Holder to hold my $20 Ultimate Guard boxes, it was $80, It has a nice smooth interior and a solid strong leather material for the outside, red on the inside, black on the outside, the Only issue I have with it is that it was designed only to hold those cheap $10 plastic deck boxes, if I try using the Nicer deck boxes that are slightly bigger and have a magnet then the top doesn't close all the way, it has enough room for like 10 decks, plus a small section for dice or loose cards. I still use it to hold my nicer deck boxes but it doesn't fully close all the way because the nicer deck boxes are a bit taller and the lid has a flat top with no extra space like that Spellbook had.

As terrible as the Zoopin looks, I'm happy to see more "sidewinder' style boxes. I hope more companies make deck boxes in this style since the sidewinder is my personal favorite.

So I have owned the Orzhov and Simic boxes for quite sometime now. Im just coming across this review because I just ordered the Azorious one off TCGPlayer for a whopping $70! Given the year of production I was willing to pay the price given the quality of the other two I have had for a while now. Should be in the mail soon! Cant wait to give Shorikai a new garage ;)
Those Guild deck boxes are super cool! I can't wait to buy the Rakdos one to house my brand new sweet Chainer reanimator deck!
I use a drone bag i got at Toys R Us when they were going outta business it holds 6 Satin towers comfortably and two playmats with a compartment that i can put my spindown lifecounters in. I got tired of waiting for a decent product to carry my commander decks around.

I have the larger Grimoire box and I actually rather like it. I works with the dividers that you might get from an MTG gift set and they also sell a special divider set separately (kinda expensive for what it is but I like it) and it allows me to hold about 5 edh decks with some room for a tokens slot and a compartment for dice.

It's about time UltraPro upgraded their products- the shock land-art deck boxes were terrible. $19 is quite steep, though.

Hi Professor. Although I don't play MtG or Pokemon, I appreciate your channel as well as how thorough and honest your reviews are. I have a special request. With every release of Wizard's new project, the Transformers TCG, its players are itching to find the best protection for their oversized character cards. Since the Transformers TCG is relatively new, there isn't much when it comes to deck boxes specifically for oversized cards. I was wondering if you could test already existing products such as Dex Protection or even Monster Protectors. Both have boxes with removable trays that make it seem as if it'd be suitable for oversized cards, but it's always best to check with you first before putting money towards it.
