- This video shows my first SmallRig DreamRig project that I did some time ago. It's a cold shoe mount that fits the "SmallRig Mounting Clamp for DJI Ronin-SC Gimbal (BSS2412)". It allows me to mount my monitor conveniently in center position. The perfect Dual Handle Gimbal Rig in my opinion!

do you know who makes that cold shoe, and do you happen to remember which nato rail this was? also I am trying to figure out why the side mounting attachment that screws into the ras, again I really love this setup I want to create this for my business, thanks!!!

@@Saint_CephasThat cold shoe mount? I had that custom made from SmallRig. They have a thing called "DreamRig" where you can send in your own 3D model, and they manufacture it. I don't know if they can make this one for you again if you contact them, but maybe it's worth a try! Good luck!

Thanks for making this video man I'm about to shoot a wedding next week and I was wondering how I can rig my ronin sc with a battery to power my camera so i don't shoot in eco mode because if I'm shooting in eco mode my camera will go to sleep and stop my recording. I do have some questions though for instance how did you mount the battery plate to the rod ?, what size rod is that ?, I notice you said that's a custom piece they made for you but do you have any suggestions or will you put the design out there ? and some of these links they discontinued these parts do you have any updated recommendations to substitute those parts ?
I also understand you may not make an updated video since there are so many new gimbal options out there idk it still would be nice if you can or a short i do appreciate you making this video tho thanks man
That is a regular 15mm rod with a 1/4 thread at the end, that I screw into the npf battery. You can contact smallrig and ask about the pieces. Also watch my other video about custom camera pieces where I explain the SmallRig DreamRig plan.
