It’s actually the ending of an anime called Death Note (highly recommend it). They also did one opening for Death Note.

Maximum the Hormone are legends and very influential in Japanese metal. Highly suggest the mv for Yoku Fukushu to see them and explore their soundscape. Note the band Nemophila did a cover of this song during Covid from their homes and it is glorious.

The female vocalist is Nao, the group's drummer ! She's also the older sister of the guitarist (who does most of the rap and screamo parts).

@@PaganReactsActually all four members sing ! Which is quite unique for a metal band, but the contrasting tones work super well with their musical chaos.
I think most of the rap and screamo parts are from Daiske-han.

They all are very talented
Further more, Nao is the founder and leader of the band who tames the three men with their typical anti white-bread behaviour. Is she also the main composer? I don't know. Finally she is a role-model for several other female drummers, best known Tamu from Nemophila. As a side-job Nao is mother of at least one toddler. To sum it up: Nao is' 'ne goile Büchs'.
Guitarist doesn't do most of the rap/screamo parts, he does some, but he does the cleam male vocals mostly. Daisuke does the harsh vocals

There's a music video for this song it's just so hard to find but it definitely pop up every few years
I hope you do more of them, they are definitely a band that has influenced other Japanese rock and metal bands. If i could have everyone in the world react to one song by them, it would be Yoshu Fukushu.

Japans 3 great consistent all lady metal bands in no particular order. Lovebites, Nemophila and Hanabie should all be on your list to check out. Hanabie started out in high school playing Maximum the Hormone songs and Nemophila does 2 sick as covers of MTH as well as their own original great tracks. Lovebites and Nemophila are highly skilled musicians. Hanabie just completed a very successful support tour with Limp Bizcut in Japan and Australia and New Zealand. Im sure you will love these bands. Japan has hundreds of great metal bands. Many all lady groups as well. The saying goes metal/rock didnt die. It just moved to Japan. For MTH try Koi No Sperma live.
yakidin -- "in no particular order. Lovebites, Nemophila and Hanabie": I agree with you, but don't forget Band Maid and Baby Metal. And this are only the 5 Japanese top all-female bands. There a literally dozens of others. But the "big five" may be a good starter.

To get an impression what they look like watch "yoshu fukushu" (revenge and forgiveness).
They are fire. A highly influential band in Japan. Their time changes, riffs, genre flips & breakdowns are awesome. You should check out the all-female gtoup Hanabie. They were heavily influenced by MTH & have a very similar music structure. Their drummer, Nao, inspired quite a few Japanese woment to become drummers, Like Tamu from Nemophila & Akane from Band-Maid (2 awesome bands).

They did music for Death Note and they also did F (Frieza song for DBZ)
all MAXIMUM THE HORMONE member is a vocalist, the Guitarist Ryo is mostly doing Clean Vocals, the Drummer Nao is Ryo Older Sister also doing some vocals in the song, another Vocalist and do Mostly the Scream part is Daisuke-han, and last one is the Bassist Ue-chan he's doing some vocals too, but not as many as the other member, if you want to react their other works i recommend u do their Yoshu Fukushu Album & Bu-ikikaesu!! Album which is their Metal side or u can do Rokkinpo Goroshi Album which is their Punk Side.
Should check out their live video for koi no sperm. MTH is a great and goofy.

Maximum The Hormone are absolutely brilliant. For me the band was the entry into the world of Japanese metal through the Death Note songs. Together with Hanabie., who started as an MTH cover band, the best and most creative that Japanese metal has to offer. 🤘

Saw them live in Japan in Nov. Great, great set. I was fortunate to be close to the rail. The only problem was constantly getting kicked in the head by all the crowd surfers coming up from behind me.😆
