This is such a beautifully moving, captivating, music video . . . it’s so gorgeously played and skillfully produced! Even though you shared this during one of the Fundays, I thoroughly enjoyed each scene and every note tonight as much as then. Wouldn’t it be special if through your classical music mission, the composer, Medtner, will eventually receive the recognition he deserves. It seems, at least to me, that in the end the Forgotten Melodies are fully restored. A video with a happy ending! Sending you, and the producer, enormous congratulations for receiving the platinum Independent Shorts awards - very, very well deserved, Jeeyoon!!!

Jeeyoon, this was outstanding!! For me, it's actually an intro to Nikolay Medtner? Oh my.....where has this been all my life?? :-) The video was really fantastic and being in the outdoors on the water is a favorite pastime for me, too and where inspiration is acquired. I love the drifting, dreaming quality of this production and your playing is absolutely divine! What a performance!!! Congratulations on the award for the video, as well. You deserved it! Hello Jackie, thank you for your beautiful comments! Yes, I love Medtner. I think he is one of the less well recognized composers that should be played more. His music has that dreamy sense of atmosphere, interesting rhythmic and harmonic ideas also! Try him out! You will love it! I am so glad you liked the video! Yay!

Beautiful performance and video! Having first heard of this piece on your 'Journey through Classical Piano' podcast, I started learning it myself just a few days ago. The polyrhythms are a challenge to perform with a natural flow but definitely worth persevering with!
