9-Drive Throttle Controller | Toyota Hilux N70 Installation Guide | Step by Step

In this video you can see how i install the 9-drive throttle controller to my toyota hilux. This installation process is similar in every vehicle type and this controller is only compatible with the electric throttles. This is a quick and cheap way to bump up your sluggish throttle response or to reduce the response for a economy drive. This pedal controller helps the driver to use a wide range of throttle sensitivities which will help me when off-roading. The installation took only about 5-10 minutes and it is just plug and play.

Installation Steps (for the Toyota Hilux):
- Remove the accelerator pedal ( if needed )
- Unplug the throttle wire connection plug
- Plug in the adapter given in the box
- Plug in the other end of the adapter to the standard pedal connector in the vehicle
- Feed the controller wire through the dashboard to your desired location
- Place the controller with adhesive tape behind it
- Connect the lightning cable to the controller
- Tie down the hanging wires and keep away from moving parts.
- Test all modes and Enjoy!

Hi, I like your videos a lot and I am a subscriber because it helps me and others, if you don't mind can you give feedback regarding safety issues, My question is what if the throttle controller's device suddenly fails? or was the little wire accidentally cut? Do we still have the control of gas pedal, especially on the highway? or it will be back to normal mode? Thank you for hoping you can enlighten us. thank you again!

Yes if it fails it will be fine, you will have normal throttle response. Some safety issues to mention is when in reverse. If it is in full sport mode while you reverse you just need to be careful.
