- Eliminate your Challenger's sluggish throttle response with a SpeedForm Throttle Response Controller. All modern vehicles use a drive-by-wire system that controls the throttle body electronically, similar to a dimmer switch. The SpeedForm Throttle Response Controller comes with 5 preset control modes for Stock, Eco, Comfort/Sport, Sport and Race applications. Each mode can further be adjusted with 9 levels of sensitivity. This allows you to select the mode that works the best for your own personal driving style and needs.
Stock - Acceleration is set to factory defaults. Display is NO.
ECO - Designed for fuel economy. Display is EC.
Comfort/Sport - Balances performance and fuel economy. Display is P1.
Sport - Improves engine response for better performance during daily commuting. Display is P2.
Race - Maximum performance with immediate throttle response. Display is P3.
The SpeedForm Throttle Response Controller connects directly into the stock throttle position sensor found on the drive-by-wire gas pedal using an OEM style plug and play connector with no permanent modifications required. Do theses work in Jeeps?
I do have a question though:
I was unaware of the setting for manual and automatic that you show in this video.
When I hood down “-“ it shows “555” when I hood down “+” it shows “AAA” which is different from this video.
Which setting is correct for an automatic?

This thing is Awesome.
Easy installation. Great flexibility, feels like adding 50 horsepower. Another great way to get the most out of the settings is to cut it down to setting 1 on the economy mode when driving in rain or snow.
If you did not had a video for this product, I would never buy it. Think about it American muscle. I think it is very important for you guys that you should post a video or possibly every single product that you guys have available so that people know how to install it as well, some people don’t know how to install products, and that’s why they don’t buy them, you guys help us a lot with the videos, and because of thisVideo, I purchased this throttlebody controller, thank you
Just installed mine, it does exactly what it claims to to. Turned a left off my street on P39 and lit the tires up and left 2 dark strips.
Just installed on my 14 Challenger RT. This is a must have mod IMO, I’ve had the Pedal Commander as well, bang for buck this is a better choice. Quick and easy install, wakes up that hemi especial in Race mode. 👌
Just put it on my 2017 scat challenger. Works great! Pairing it with srt track mode from the tazer. Waiting on my 87mm throttle body. Its going to open the bish right up!!
What would happen if I put my car in sport mode with this thing on sport mode already? After having this installed to I leave the settings I can do to my car alone?
Smells like its burning my clutch with im in racemode. I smell it strong
It definitely increased my gas consumption.
Bought this about 7 months ago the best 135 bucks I’ve spent. I keep it on P3.9 everyone is surprised how fast my car gets up. Always asking “why is your faster then most v6 chargers”

Hi, very informative, advanced, and complete information regarding the throttle controller, thank you, but I have a question I hope the admin or AmericanMuscle Dodge can answer regarding safety issues, My question is what if the throttle controller's device suddenly fails? or the little wire cut? Got the throttle and had it on 3.9 it’s strong and powerful left marks in my drive way on accident 😂, just waiting on my tazer now
Ok im ngl, this is the dumbest I've felt in my entire life, the controller has been sitting in ny drawer for about a year cuz i just can't do this simple install and i refuse pay to install it. Wellp i guess it's gona be one of those complete waste purchases lol
Just got one plugged it up turned check engine light on and feels like my engine is hardly going like -20 throttle response

Did you disconnect the battery or wait till the lights went off. That's how I did my old pedal commander.
What a difference it made in my 2020 challenger. Very responsive and you can feel the difference.
Any issues with it now ? No check engines codes coming up ?
@@bustingyewls154 Nope it still works like a champ. Never an issue. It just sits near my console and I ran the wire between the carpet and center console took about 10 minutes to install and been rock solid ever since.

@@bustingyewls154 Not this one. Pedal commander maybe but this is just a throttle response part it doesn't do anything to the computer of your challenger. You can take it on and off and everything is back to normal. You're thinking of a commander or a tazer.
Been using this on my 2018 SXT for a year now. Works great and was a good price compared to many other options.
Definitely helps with throttle delay.

@@jonathancervantes9167 No tune needed. I’ve been using this everyday since installing it. No issues. No codes. Use multiple setting depending on weather conditions. Has done fine on several long trips too.

That’s a good question, I had issues with my pedal commander give me a check engine light. Wonder if this would do the same thing.

Just installed this on my 2009 Challenger R/T. Placed it next to the stereo. Wasn’t too hard to install.

Looks great. Only thing I'd suggest is to move the power power point to the bottom instead of on the side so it can truly look clean and seamless no matter where you choose to put it.
I was thinking the same thing after I installed it. I have no idea why they couldn't have put the plug-in on the left side or the bottom. That's my only minor complaint with this thing.
Why not just add a magnet to it, hide it under the steering column and just pull it out when altering the settings

Will it effect manufacturers warranty? I have a 2022 Toyota Tacoma am thinking about installing one.
Just bought one today for my srt8. Sounds like so much fun, so I couldn't resist for the price. Only thing I'm worried about is (and probly not going to be the case) hoping it won't screw with the cpu in the car in some way
Far as I can tell it’s totally safe. It doesn’t de-program anything just bypasses the drive by wire

@@accountemail9712 Yes big time. So far, it's been a great purchase. Obviously doesn't give you any HP gains, but the throttle response is pretty much instantaneous.

Is there any real difference between this and much more expensive products like Pedal Commander, Sprint Booster, etc? Seems no different from what I understand.
I dont know but im going to find out. I have been using this one for a year plus. Now i am facing issues. Occasionally the car would start accelerating on it is own which is a big problem for me. On several occasions i almost hit other cars in traffic and while parking. It is also increasing my brakes wear and tear when it happens since i have to slow down right away. I realized that when i side kick the pedal with my foot to mechanically shockbit then it dtops the rpm back. So im not sure if the pedal itself has an issue. Ordered pedal commander and i will get it soon. Hopefully it wont happen with pc.

Same thing happened to me, really scary, I bought another one off Amazon, not just 6 months later it seems to be ineffetive, no difference in what level set at, at least no accelerating. Has it gone bad or is my tranny the issue? wish i knew@@yuvalkapellner2551

what are the chances of this causing engine codes like P2127 and such? I recently bought one from amazon for half that but different brand and was constantly getting engine codes every time I started up my car. This is on a 2014 Dodge Charger SXT

@@flamingskulls7015 well I ended up testing it . Nothing happened tbh. I drove with track mode on tazer while full throttle and nothing happen. Just a heads up the gas pedal becomes highly sensitive and the rpm’s red line super easy with both on
