@@DartagnanTwain We thought that the extra cost for the club level was worth it for Sequoia Lodge, having easy access to a breakfast buffet and drinks throughout the day really helped us make the most of our time in the theme parks.
I think to avoid the security line with magic hours I’d maybe try the free shuttle to cut that area out as the security gates by the marvel hotel which I’m guessing is the one you meant I agree can get so long with the lake hotels all using it. I totally agree with you on that. I think sequoia needs to come into the recent technology times for sure ,power outlets being the main one. If it had the same outlets the marvel hotel has which is all kinds of plug sockets, usb sockets etc it would be such a benefit for the guests. I also agree with the dated comment whilst I appreciate the lodge vibes the colour scheme in the rooms just makes it feel cheap and dull. It needs life breathing into it. Overall I do like sequoia for nostalgic reasons I think it would be so much more popular if it tweaked guests common cons with the hotel.

Thanks for watching! Our room did not have a useable outlet near the bed. We recommend calling the hotel to ask if there is anything they can do to accommodate you.
Really great info in your video! What was the up charge for a Golden Forest Club room vs a standard Sequoia Room? Unfortunately the website requires speaking with a customer service agent over the phone to get pricing. I gave up after being on hold for an hour.
Thanks so much for watching! We were able to see the costs for different room types on the Disney website directly when we booked, possibly the Golden Forest rooms are sold out for your visit? The price seems to fluctuate but a Golden Forest room costs around $50 more per person, we thought it was a good value for the convenience. Hope that helps

Thanks for watching! We used this power strip which has universal input for most plug types: www.amazon.com/dp/B00N13DC9O?ref_=cm_sw_r_apin_dp_X7J7FHBEPM9RK14NQA2Q . As long as you don’t need to convert voltage (and most electronic device chargers from the US can accept up to 240v) it’s the perfect solution for phones, laptops, etc.

Do you know if you can take the drinks from the lounge out into the park? And are drinks available throughout the whole day?
You can take drinks with you into the Parks. In between breakfast and tea time, you can ask for bottled waters or canned sodas to take to your room or wherever you’d like. We tried to get a few waters to night before so we could take them into the Parks, as during the winter season, many of the drinking fountains are turned off due to the cold weather. Im not sure I understood the thing about the Golden Forest Club. What exactly does it include?
The Golden Forest Club is a type of room which gives you access to the lounge, where you can enjoy a complimentary breakfast buffet and afternoon tea. Non-alcoholic drinks are also included. This room type is more expensive than a standard room, and is usually located in the main building on a top floor. Hope that helps!
Great info and great vlog! Do they serve beer or wine in the Golden Forest club lounge in the evening? Or are the adult beverages exclusive to the Redwood bar and lounge?

Did you get bathrobes and slippers for the pool?

Hi! The Golden Forest (club level) rooms have a mini fridge, but standard rooms do not. Hope that helps!
