    I'm planning to make my first solo trip ever next year to Disneyland Paris and this really helped me out. I'm planning to stay at Disney hotel to really get everything out of the trip and keep it as simple as possible. The walking distances really take a lot of stress away. So far Sequoia Lodge seems most promising option!

      This is so exciting! Disneyland Paris is such a fab destination for a solo trip! I love staying at a Disney hotel as you get the great benefit for Extra Magic Hours and to be so close to the parks is the best!

      @@MostMagicalGuidesHi I love your review. I went to Disneyland 23 years ago. Everything I went to see has now been replaced. I want to stay in Disneyland hotel and get everything included with the most value

    We are going to Disneyland Paris for 20 years, stayed in new port bay, New York , sequoia lodge and Cheyenne many times, our favourite is Cheyenne. Cheyenne was more expensive than Newport bay and sequoia lodge last November. Totally agree with the comment above.

    • @MostMagicalGuides
      @MostMagicalGuides  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I really love the Cheyenne too! It is totally true that the prices can fluctuate depending on how booked up a hotel is, which means sometimes the value resorts are more expensive! But it is nice if there is a great price to be able to try out the different level hotels!

    I’ve stayed in all of them minus NY and Davy crocket. My favourite is SQL or Disneyland hotel 😍

    Hi Sophie, we're thinking about going at Easter this year (school holiday restrictions), we're going on Monday to Thursday so avoiding the weekends. Have you ever been at Easter? Do you know what crowds are like? We won't be staying onsite (one room at Cheyenne has gone up £500 overnight!). Do you think we'll be ok without the extra hour? I'm a bit nervous, I've only ever been in October.

    • @MostMagicalGuides
      @MostMagicalGuides  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Heya! It is exciting you are planning a DLP trip! Going midweek is definitely a great idea! Easter will always be busy because of the school holidays all across Europe. I think having 4 days is great because it gives you more time to fit things in which will definitely help! The parks do also tend to stay open later, this can help too.
      It is wild how much the cost has gone up with Hotel Cheyenne! (Sometimes clearing your browser or using incognito mode will lower the price as some websites if you keep checking prices inflate the prices to rush people into booking!)

    • @frankieo8285
      @frankieo8285 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you@@MostMagicalGuides ! I'm incognito. They have an Easter "deal" on at the mo, so it might be more expensive than usual until that's finished, ironically! Currently Newport is £40 in total more expensive than Cheyenne for 3 nights! I couldn't believe it!

    • @MostMagicalGuides
      @MostMagicalGuides  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@frankieo8285 it is the best when you find a deal! I had the same with Newport Bay! It was only £60 more! It's usually because a high amount of the rooms at the Cheyenne have been sold already so it pushes the price up at that hotel. But it is amazing to then be able to stay at Newport Bay for not much more!

    Thank you so much for this informative video. As a female solo traveller, which hotel would you recommend from safety's perpective? Thank you again. Lovely video

    • @MostMagicalGuides
      @MostMagicalGuides  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much for watching and for such a lovely comment! The thing I love the most about DLP and their hotels is they have all felt really safe as a solo female traveller! I like that they are all quite close to the parks and have the free shuttle buses so if it is late and night and you don't want to walk back to the hotel alone you can jump on the bus. I have never had any concerns at any of the hotels which is fab news! I tend to stay at the value resorts most frequently (simply because they are the cheapest). If you did want to be closer to the parks so you could walk back and forth or in a hotel where it is one big building instead of blocks of buildings Newport Bay, The Art of Marvel Hotel and the Disneyland Hotel are the best bet. But I think all of the hotels are suitable so I would totally pick whichever is right for your budget or the theme you love the most!

    • @SpiritMQ
      @SpiritMQ ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MostMagicalGuides Thank you for your detailed comment. I totally appreciate. Value resorts sounds like a good idea if they have a shuttle service available. The on-site hotels that I looked into are good too. I was thinking about the safety issue coz I'll be travelling on my own and also coz my French is basic :) The most fabulous one is of course Disneyland Hotel but I think that's closed till January. Is that so? Thank you again and keep it up. Would love to see more videos from you.

    • @MostMagicalGuides

    I went last October and used extra magic time to do character meet 'n' greets so that is what I used it for as I had a disability prioity card so we didn't really do the rides in the extra magic time, we did one of the days though which was good until the ride we were on broke down.

    • @MostMagicalGuides
      @MostMagicalGuides  ปีที่แล้ว

      It is such a great idea to use EMH to meet characters! In the day the waits can be so long so this is a fab way to meet them with a shorter wait time!

    Ive already booked Newport Bay but was looking at cheaper options and now I'm stuck between Cbeyenne and SQL. SQL is only €50 more expensive than Cheyenne. Is it worth it to choose Cheyenne because it's somewhat cheaper? And is it wise to even switch from Newport? It's my 1st time going there with my mom and brother and we're both adults. It's only for 1 night in december

    • @MostMagicalGuides
      @MostMagicalGuides  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi! It is so exciting you have a trip booked and it is coming up soon! I think all the hotels are a good choice and you can't really go wrong! I would say the rooms at SQL feel a bit more dated than the others, but if that isn't an issue it is a beautiful hotel in the winter months! And it is slightly closer to walk to the parks from SQL than the Cheyenne (but only by about 4 minutes!). Cheyenne has super fun theming, Starbucks on site and the rooms are a good size! (Cheyenne is one of my favourite DLP hotels!) Newport Bay is really beautiful and I love that it has it's own security channel so it is a quick way to get to the parks! If there is a big price difference between NPB and the other hotels (and you won't be using the amenities like the swimming pool) it may be worth the downgrade and then you have more money to spend in the parks! But if you are looking for convenience and closeness to the parks NPB is a good option!

    Very nicely done! You covered ALOT! I have a couple questions I hope you can answer. Is Hotel New York the only hotel with a frig? I'm also wondering about the outlets for charging. I understand that Sequoia only has two outlets in the room. Do you know how the outlets are at the Newport Bay Club and Hotel New York? Thank you so much for doing this video. It was very helpful. Carolyn from Oregon/USA.

    • @MostMagicalGuides
      @MostMagicalGuides  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi Carolyn! Thank you so much for watching! This is a great question! Hotel New York and Disneyland Hotel are the only two that have fridges as standard in their rooms. They are more like drinks coolers than fridges. (Davy Crockett Ranch also has fridges but is further away and requires a car to stay there).
      Newport Bay doesn't have a lot of power outlets. There is a bank of power outlets under the vanity mirror and one near one of the beds. With Hotel New York having been rethemed to The Art of Marvel more recently this hotel does have more sockets on offer which is great!

    Just a tip, the hotels dont always stay at the same price keep checking the site.
    We always use the Sequoia Lodge ( its our favourite). When we booked i checked the price of Newport Bay, which at the time was £300 more.
    6 weeks later just out of curiosity had another look and it was £200 less than the Sequoia. All the same dates.
    Ive also seen Cheyenne more than Sequoia .

    • @MostMagicalGuides
      @MostMagicalGuides  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes! It is so true! It is totally worth checking the costs of all the hotels as the prices fluctuate depending on how booked up they are so sometimes the value resorts can work out expensive and the moderate or deluxe resorts cheaper!

      This is a great question and I hope someone can give you a proper answer! I've not stayed at Sequoia Lodge before but I do know it was renovated in 2021 so is one of the newer hotels for amenities. I've stayed at other DLP hotels and I would presume the beds are standard across them all and have always found them very comfortable! (Which is just what you want after a long day at the park!)
