  • In an early season conference matchup in 2019 the Alabama Crimson Tide faced Ole Miss at home. After an early score by the Rebels, the Tide offense handled business. Wide Receiver DeVonta Smith had 11 receptions for 274 yards and five touchdowns. In addition to breaking records, Smith led the Tide to a 59-31 victory.

@@JustinHindman1988 I totally agree. Given the talent we got, there's no excuse why we shouldn't win a natty this coming year. That's the closet UGA team to 2017. @@JustinHindman1988 i mean. Of all of Ga's rivals i hate auburn the least. I always pull for them in the Iron bowl. ...i think Bo Nix should have a good year. Its always a nail biter every time they play Auburn and i enjoy that...its no fun playing a vanderbilt or a helpless tennessee team...for me its about competition and victories are best when theyre uncertain. It also sucks that Alabama has built a dynasty, sure but theyve also built a monopoly in the state of alabama...

Tua's ball was so easy to catch and just right where the receivers wanted it. What a perfect combination between Tua and that core of Tide receivers (Judy, Ruggs, Smitty, Waddle). It will never be repeated because 2017 - 2018 was once in a lifetime. I'm so glad I got to watch. Thank you Nick.

Not much of a big deal. The SEC is mainly Alabama and 13 other teams jockeying for #2 in the SEC.
To accurately describe the SEC is to put Alabama as #1 in the SEC (a grand canyon sized gap). Then the #2 team in the SEC.
I will say that in terms of conferences the SEC ranks #2 behind the Big Ten. The Big Ten has the best stadiums, the best fans, and the best rivalries.
In fact The Ohio State/Michigan game is the best rivalry in all of sports.
Duke vs. Carolina (NCAA Basketball), Eagles vs. Cowboys, Red Sox vs. Yankees...don't even come close.

72-44 record in bowl games over the last decade, no other conference has been better than the SEC. The only rivalry worth a damn in the B1G is Ohio State vs Michigan and that hasn't been special in over a decade.
