  • We finally bring bees home and put them in our Beehive.
Follow me on my journey of being a Backyard Urban Beekeeper in Barbados. This will be a new experience for me and quite the change from managing a commercial operation in Canada.

Watching from Trinidad. Those are some real calm bees. Alot of the bees here are Africanized so most people wear bee suits and gloves. 😂

Enjoyed your video! This may be new for your present location.....but you have a lot more experience than you let on! Ft. Myers. Is RR WW Emerson Ramsey still around?

Hi I am a beekeeper on the island as well. Looking forward to see what you can learn about our bees.

They're pretty much the same as bees in Canada. It's more learning about nectar flows and nectar sources and access to treatments and things like that that will be learning curve.
