- Maybe we need more time to truly appreciate this, but then again, maybe not.

A "no one" meme in 2024 is fucking insane
@@tadknuf7979 if you think that's insane, lemme tell you about the time I met Professor Skye
I saw Prof Skyw at a grocery store in LA one day (this was like a year ago). I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, AVAA etc etc... but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything; he said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face.
I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be too far away and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I know his sense of humor and in any other situation would appreciate the wordplay. But then after she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by repeating the last number she said back to her before she could finish.
Really strange, but I don't hold it against him who knows what anyone is going through on a given day. We all have our own inner worlds. Anyways, AVAA ❤
Seeing all the ‘mid’ talk knew prof would have my back and come through by loving the record
PLEASE TALK ABOUT SABI WU’S KENYAN PROTEST SONG THAT SAMPLES NOT LIKE US, “REJECT HIO BILL”.
AVAA love the shirt
AVAA I’ve been loving this one! Thanks for giving us your thoughts on it.
17:44 This gave me chills I love this and absolutely agree
You sir... HAVE ABSOLUTELY BLOWN ME AWAY.
What an incredibly IN-DEPTH analysis - Hits the NAIL on the HEAD perfectly, by my estimation.
Chefs kiss to the Chet and Lester reference.
AVAA 😉
Surprised by how much I like it considering it has a bit of a mid reputation, it's worse than Blakes best (self titled and colour in anything) but better than most of their other stuff. It doesn't have super memorable moments but it's really easy to listen to the same way a lot of my favourite bossa nova/ambient/lounge albums are.
PS: Beans on toast is great
AVAA.
We share the same fear of not existing.😅
I'm really curious about your analysis of the new Eminem album, so I'd like to share two things that kinda bothered me:
1. The weird mixing of the vocals often distracted me from the content.
2. I feel like at some point it's too much leaning into nostalgia, but maybe that's a double layer criticizing hollywood for doing exactly that. I couldn't tell but if so, chapeau.🎩
AVAA For me this is 2024's Blonde, even Yachty mentioned that he wished he wrote Self Control before Frank, maybe that album was an inspiration for this one, and I think people will totally dickride this album in a few years. For now, I see it on the status of misunderstood
wow i finally understand somebody save the savior
i heard a few song off the album and i didn’t really connect to them but i’ll definitely give it another listen
AVAA! Your content def makes many of my days. Love from Canada
album was not for me. avaa
Avaa
AVAA.
AAVA, have u heard the new project from Montreal prod/rapper Mike Shabb? definitely worth the check out if u want more nick craven while very unique style production
AVAA, excited to watch this vid
Atkins passed in 2001
no words... professor skye started put in words what i couldn't, it's so otherwordly that i could just feel and most part of the time words are not enough to translate feelings. so at least i know that in any transition or any otherwordly experience we might be together listening to angels
this album would definitely be a reason for me to pray every day, from my soul
Skye if your looking for that really angelic experience and a sort of leveling up feeling from hearing a artist progress I seriously recommend Headie Ones new album The Last One. Headie One is s certified legend in the UK. This new album of his is such a clear example of through hard work and investing in yourself you can level up your sound to something your listeners haven’t heard before.
Avaa Chet died 2001
A Professor Skye review of Lil Yachty is the final boss of high brow/low brow culture
Future and Drake have best collab album of this generation contender. Top 2 at least
AVAA.
Will you do Em’s new album? Or any of his songs? Love the content and your perspective
Fr I would love for him to do a vid on the album
he made a post on instagram that leads me to believe he will make a video on it. so hopefully it will happen
New amazing rap just came out from a Toronto rapper who isn't Drake. He's ill an so is the producer. Daniel Son and Futurewave - Bushman Bodega
thank you for taking some heat off my city 😖 lolol
we don't like drake either😭😭
but yeah we have some great locals idk why they rarely ever make it much further...:/
When are you going to review The Greatbailout by Moor Mother
Please react to rod wave. Either his new album nostalgia or his album beautiful mind. He is a rap artist a lot of gen z listen to and he promotes men accepting their emotions. #video2ofaskingforrodwave
Totally disagree...
Sick bud
Saw James Blake live back in uruguay in 2012 tear down a dingy ass venue with a bunch of synths and just a (mixed kit) drummer having his back... only he can make consider ever listening to Lil Yatchy. And he aced it, like everything he does.
Considering yachty released a WIDELY praised psychedelic album last year I think your emphasis on avoiding his music is not only pretentious but racist!
Don't want to be preachy here but it seems kinda narrow minded to disregard an artist like that. You're going to be missing out on a lot of things you might enjoy with that mindset :(
