I like the intro! And digging the beard, makes the face look more slim. I personally can’t be without a beard 👍👍
Good to know!
Thanks
Best channel on TH-cam!

I'd like to thank you personally for your videos. It is so refreshing to have something to watch that isn't constantly relaying bad news about something. It's almost like it's on purpose. The constant bombardment of body blows to your psychie when watching the news of the day. There's no wonder why so many Americans are suffering from depression and anxieties.
Yes that makes sense.
fun vid guys and the intro is hilarious ... these sunken floor vids I've seen you do are great projects to watch and fascinating. Cheers!
I agree with what I said here too
Glad you like them!
Cool intro and good editing … love these sunken floor projects
Thanks so much!
MR Odell Sr why did you pour the concrete without removing the drywall baseboards and put cement board?
As always, your work is Unsinkable
Wow, thanks
Looks like you had fun with the challenge.
Yes, I still got what it takes.
When I work with West system epoxy pulling miracles mixing on hot days on the Yacht repair stuff pushing the limits .. I'm intrigued with concrete and now I have a house in SF Valley and dabbling in concrete it's similar but different... And I'm only one guy. The home owner is lucky to have you to do his work for sure.

Typically in your area what will the home owner cover the concrete with? Thanks for the content.
Manufactured wood laminates
I’ve never poured concrete in my life. I’ve never needed it to be done or thought to get it done. But I watch all your videos lol
Well, if you ever do need it, you'll know what to say and except.
TY
@@OdellCompleteConcrete absolutely!!
right on
I was just thinking the same thing as I'm watching the video. I don't do concrete and have no desire to. I just can really tell great workmanship and customer service. I enjoy watching these videos.
@@rchavez5056 No kidding. Thinking of moving to California just so I can have him pour a slab for me lol
Rocking the new look
Yes, for a while
definitely need to do this to one of our sunken rooms
It's a common procedure
Love the videos and education! I need yall out here in Texas! lol
It's a possibility
Looking good Odell ,great job man and thank you for the pointers when I text you brother!
Sure no problem
Do you guys ever pour basements? Would love to see videos of that.
It's a two-part procedure. Floor then walls.
Always a challenge when a mix starts to turn .Do you set your bars off the floor we set em on spacers here in the UK.Great job as always 👍💯🏴
Yes we had chairs on this one
I see those living rooms like that in cali on other ppl channels, good job. BTW I like the intro as well
Why do u need rebar in that though, it's sitting on a slab ... I would just use 4000 psi and no rebar, maybe fiber
Thank you!!
You could do that to, no problem.
The facial hair looks good. Great look for you. Do you like the plastic sliders better than the metal ones? Im thinking of getting the plastic ones and try them... the metal ones i find heavy and dig in the concrete too easy and just cause more annoyance fixing as i go( perhaps im just not use to them as ive bought them and used them two times lol ).
Yes, I prefer the fiberglass over metal.
Beard is a good look on you, keep growing it out
Thanks! Will do!
You should share your origin story. How you got into this trade. I really enjoy the vids.
Thanks for the idea!
Awesome video intro was amazing

Just finished a 278 yard foundation pour..just in time watch more concrete get poured!😎
A nice break
Nice job, breard looks good too!👍🧔
Thanks 👍
Looking good. By any chance is that your home. Looks like it from other videos. 👍👍
I wish
Hey, love the beard bruh! Looking sharp
TY
Question I've had for a long time:
When you screed the concrete and you're stepping backwards, what happens if you step on the reinforcement? Does it "pop back up" so to say after you step off or does it end up on the bottom of the pour? Here I noticed you used spacers but on other videos you don't.
2' spacing, you should be able to avoid the bars.
@@OdellCompleteConcrete I figured your team knew how to avoid the tripwires! Thank you for clarifying (though I had to Google how wide 2' is in meters :P)!
@@Swedonia yes and if you look closely we had the rebar on dobies to keep it up 2 inches
I was surprised that beard didn’t have more gray in it. Lol, cool video
Me too

Hot sauce loads are no joke!
Definitely handled it tho! 🤙🏽🤙🏽
For sure
TY
Nice finish!! Nobody singing to concrete on this one lol
I was about to sing the blues
What happens when you send the load back @Odell Complete Concrete? Does that get charged to the customer?
In this case the pumper made the order, so it would be on him for not being on schedule.
Great job
Awesome job as always!!
TY
great work guys. on to your next one
Yes

I see Robertson's trucks a lot in CA. How do you like their mix? Nice beard.
I've used it once, so it's hard to say
Hate dealing with some concrete truck guys sometimes they send a truck in super early to make another time slot for another job..don't know the situation here but it's happened few times
Not sure either
That beard has given you a bit of spring in your step. The old dog has some life left in him.
I hope so.
TY
Everyone that I know that has a sunken living room has tripped, or spilled their beer because of sunken living rooms.
One beer drop is all it takes
Definitely need mine done next!
I'm there
What the temp there?
ranges from 50 to 70
Excelente trabajo 👏 👍 💪
TY
What is that machine you used to tie the rebar
Makita rebar tying gun
Thanks for these videos very informative keep it up 👍
Two questions is it really hot or is it a figure of speech? 2. I noticed that the concrete was darker on this site is it because it’s an inside pour( and has to be a different standard then outside) or just the color of this load?
Yes it really gets hot.
Just random on the color depending on materials
"Looking like a right stud..." - Thanks for the laugh and another fine demonstration on how to do construction related work.
PS: While the concrete is in the truck, since it was early, is it being rotated the entire time?
Yes its being rotated at a slow speed,
Thanks
Beard looks good bud keep it
TY
thanks

I do a lot of stand-up comedy, where can I get my own funny trowel?

Sweet video 👍
Thanks 👍
Sunken lounge rooms are coming back in vogue!
I haven't noticed that
Gotta love those hot piping loads 😆
They're a real beauty.
Круто!!!
Team Beard!
Bingo
Haha I know that pumper. What a small world.
Thats cool
Sorry but Monk Fruit extract as a sweetener is a deal breaker like Stevia. Also hope Canada and the E.U approve the sweetener.
Not real sure but 0 carbs I think is a great way to lose the pounds.
Some day, 20 or 30 years in the future, when sunken living rooms become popular again, some poor bastard is going to have to dig all that concrete back out of there...
If that happens might as well start from scratch and make it a basement
Going straight grizzly bear
For sure
With all due respect Odell but for a split second I thought it was Joaquin Phoenix at the beginning when you were at the entrance of the house.
But with the hoodie you look like gerard Butler lol I admire your work!
I can see that on both people.
The sunken place 👀
