Wait. I’m pro-landlord but how do you say that an eviction moratorium is contrary to tenant interests? Or rather how do you say that with a straight face? Just say you think tenants are beneath you and don’t try to gaslight anybody.
There are “dead beat tenants” just as there are “slumlords”. I find it a bit hypocritical that someone can have no problem labeling bad landlords, but when it comes to labeling bad tenants, hurting their feelings is somehow taboo. BS
Worked in homelessness and public housing as a professional contracts and compliance officer and public auditor for local gov for 20 years dealing with landlords, slumlords, etc. PHCD when our dept took over their homeless beds from public housing I was the lead…Mayors ought to stop funding begging toxic landlords and private property investors. I instruct the homeless to sue local government for receiving millions in HUD NOFO funding and then their local legislators have the sheer nerve to criminalize the poor and homeless?! I’m a homeless advocate and sat on many homeless forums committed, etc. Classists and elitist, their ideologies of the poor are ignorant and disenfranchising. Don’t ever tell me about housing, smh. I said what I said, don’t have to defend it either. The dead beats are these toxic local politicians, smh.
Very informative Jeff.
Thank you Colleen
Thank you so very much. They are really helpful.
Great info

Great information. In CA, can restrictions apply for the number of adults allowed to occupy the property? ie 4 bedrooms, 4 adults (roommates).
usually two people per bedroom, but usually they can add an infant or child...
There is no such thing as “dead beats”! Who you calling dead beats?! See this is why this mentality has to go! #potentialpoliticalcandidate
