    • @magicwoodjewelry
      @magicwoodjewelry  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You got me😊At first I thought I wanted to flood the whole place on the canvas, but then left some dirt around. That's why it happened and I finally left it as it is 😊 But it's nice that someone notices such things. I am learning all the time. Such comments will help me in the future.

  • @rafiqkatana
    @rafiqkatana 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    This was great to watch while listening to music. But that canvas is going to rot. They tend *not* to be treated on the backside. Especially the cheaper ones. Hmm should be fun.

      Hey, I've been working this way before and the work is alright a couple of years.Before pouring, I painted it with resin twice and let it dry.
      Cement drinks the resin and gets strong.
      The resin poured in was in layers which will also strengthen everything.Will be OK ;)

  • @michaelshort1411

    Great job I love it. Maybe it's the quality of the video but it seems dark. Personally if I put that much work into it I wouldnt make it so dark so that the dragon will show up a lil more. And why did you use the green epoxy then pour the blue epoxy over it while its wet. You cant see the green epoxy at all they both blend together. I wouldve done a lil bit of the green and poured that on and let it fully cured before pouring on the blue over top. I know that many lakes and ponds get murkier the deeper it is in the middle, but it's a personal thing that I wouldnt want to make it so dark to show off my hard work more.
    Plus I would not have used concrete as my foundation brings its heavy as hell after it dries. You should have used something a little more lighter like wall joint compound which is like mud but weighs less than concrete and can sculpt and mold it just the same.

    • @magicwoodjewelry
      @magicwoodjewelry  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the opinion .
      I mix these two dyes which gives me my color that I often use for ocean night lamp.
      I poured the emerald green first, but then added the turquoise that mix together. The next layer is made in the same way. He mixes emerald with turquoise or sapphire.
      Is it too dark hmmm
      I wanted a cool depth effect.
      I was not thinking of pouring any less resin.
      And so the first plan was to flood the whole thing without leaving any concrete.Finally, I left it like that.:)

    • @michaelshort1411
      @michaelshort1411 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's cool to get the cold look of the water, but pour the emerald first and let it dry. Then pour the turquoise or sapphire color epoxy over that to get blue you wanted. Or better yet paint the green emerald color on the bottom around the middle of the lake and around the dragon then pour your sapphire epoxy over the top so the 2 color epoxies dont blend together as we called it in art school mud together for the 2 blended together and all you see is all blue you cant even see the emerald color in the epoxy at all in the video for they blended into one color. At that point you might as well have just mixed the 2 colors together in the epoxy, let it dry then pour your second coat of sapphire epoxy over that.

    Man I'm loving your videos congratulations🥰❤
    but I have to say, during the video it doesn't keep giving close-ups, it gets in the way of people's interest when watching it makes the video "boring" keep recording the video, the things you are doing at the moment and leave the details and the close-ups for the end. This helps to make the video get more interesting
    sorry to be annoying and want to send it on your channel and only my opinion based on the other channels with the same theme

      @magicwoodjewelry  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey.Thanks. You mean it shows too much?This is one of the shorter videos ;)
      Hmmm. It's hard to please everyone
      Some people write that it is too long, and others that they want to see the whole process,but I have already thought about it. Maybe I will try this way, but I have been trying various things for over 4 years :( Probably one of my last videos on yt
      I don't have the strength and money for it anymore.
