Thunderstorm & sunset time lapse near Coon Rapids, IA May 26, 2014

While doing a little storm chasing on Memorial Day I ran across this photogenic thunderstorm to my west. I'm sitting 1 mile NNW of Bayard, IA and about 3 miles east of Coon Rapids, IA. The storm was a very slow mover and I was able to record about 1 hour and 20 minutes worth of video before the rain shaft moved in. To create this time lapse I sped the video up by 25x.
You will notice how the storm cycle up and down during this time. Also notice how the rain shafts appear and disappear during this time. As the storm approached my position it began to strengthen and with the setting sun gave my some breath taking views.

wow when i was little i was ignorant millstone so friend this is the formation of a super cell and i believe there were no tornadoes, in fact i am not even sure if it is a super cell if it was in Brazil It wouldn't be because it's hard to form one here.
