Beautiful design and beautiful plants, well presented. Small suggestion to make it easier to get the names of the plants. If you can put a border at the bottom of the video so the names appear above the screen info clutter that now covers most of them making it a real challenge to learn the name. I've got a good design for putting in new landscaping but most of the info I find on plants is suitable for Tucson which is warmer and lower in elevation than my location near the Mexican border in Arizona US zone 10 so your videos have been helpful but terribly frustrating finding the plant names.
Very nice presentation and the height variation and tumbled rock wells set them off. Where and in what zone are you? Good to put some of the leucadendrons near the fence for heat. Soil looks very dark/rich?
+Gail Klein Soil is terrible clay full of gravel. There is a gravel mine a mile away. I didn't add any soil prep because most of these plants are drought tolerant and you can kill a lot of them with kindness. As you can see, they don't mind. We are in Zone 9. It's hot in summer 90-100 from June - October. Low humidity, less than 25% most of Spring, Summer and Fall. We are in Pleasanton, CA
What an amazing front yard! How many of your neighbors have followed your lead? Do you have a Vitex tree?? Do you like it? I want to plant one in a large container where it only gets maybe 5 hours of hot afternoon sun. Do you think that will work??
