Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year! In this video I am looking back at the year in the garden. Not everything was perfect, but it was definitely fun. My goal was to get back to basics and that proved to be a great decision. Thank you for watching my videos and being part of this amazing gardening community. I'm excited for the Spring garden already. Happy gardening! 💚
Thank you Sue, and Merry Christmas to you as well. I cannot wait for the revived garden that comes with springtime. It's nice to have a little break though.
Beautifully said, reflective and soothing. You have a gift in the way you share and express the gifts of gardening. Thank you for sharing. Happy holidays to you!
I enjoy the informative, calming nature of your videos. And your narration style and tone remind me of Martha Stewart, which is a good thing. 😊 Thanks for your thoughts and information. Happy Holidays!
Merry Christmas Sue and looking forward to your expectant eradication with your box moth situation. Hope your renovation/transition of your quadrants meets your desires. It all takes time, but true gardeners are a patient lot. All the best for your success. Wendy
Your videos are always so soothing and therapeutic, I can only imagine what it would feel like strolling through your beautiful garden. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to you and yours.
Merry Christmas, Sue, what a lovely year in review! I so appreciate your channel, and I'm looking forward to the book club. I've been reading In Your Garden by V. Sackville-West, this is a great addition to my garden book collection. I have made some notes already about color and plant combinations already. Thank you so much again for your channel, it is enriching ❤
Nice review! You sure carved out a nice miniature scale of the formal gardens you love. I’m trying to keep out the wildlife 😅. I spotted one wire cage-expand that and you have my garden areas😂. Not lovely to look at here, but at least I get to see the plants develop. Nothing worse than either spending money on a plant or the time it took to raise it and Poof! It’s gone. You’re lucky the wildlife pressure is low. I’m still wondering how to protect a hydrangea near the house without a 6’ fence. Nice to see your mom and enjoy the holiday season. Merry Christmas!🎄
Great video. I’m looking forward to next years garden. I have a question about a plant you have in the pollinator garden it was about 2:23 on the video it’s white dainty flowers blowing in the breeze. Can you tell me what that is? Thank you
hello Sue; Do you have time for a question ? What's the wispy blue flowers in the video at around 1:01 time? I think I have that as well but I don't know the name of it and I'd like to increase the amount of it I have . Thank you and Merry Christmas .🎄
Hello and thanks for watching. Merry Christmas. The light blue flowers are forget-me-nots (Myosotis sylvatica). They are biennials. I get mine to bloom every season by letting them go to seed and grow into seedlings the first season. The baby plants grow below the plants that already in the garden. Once they bloom, they get removed. They are easy to grow from seed that you plant right in the garden. They are my absolute favorite spring flower.
@ I don't recall ever planting them they might've been there from before I bought the house 20 years ago and I've never done anything with them really so it's all happening by the grace of God and squirrels😂
