Basic structure doctrine is a falsified instrument. For example 'secularism and socialism' never had been included in the preamble of Indian Constitution and so they are didn't constitute the basic structure.

The judiciary has a very limited function- of adjudicating cases that come up before them fairly, based on fact and the law. And one principle of jurisprudence is that justice should not only be done but seen to be done. Viewed thus, our judiciary is a total failure. The PM is certainly in the driver's set and have to show results of growth for the nation, reflected in the quality of life of the people. And he cannot survive unless he delivers on this requirement. The CJI has no such compulsions and still get his pay and retire with a lot of pension even if he doesn't give verdict in a single case during his tenure. And ultimately, the judge, including the CJI can only issue verdicts. It will be the executive, headed by the PM, which will execute those verdicts.
Cji is the most powerful because he is the law keeper and struck down the orders of the government if it is illegal but pm can not override the law and always under laws

And ultimately, the judge, including the CJI can only issue verdicts. It will be the executive, headed by the PM, which will execute those verdicts.
