It's my birthday today. I turned 17 and I asked for a violin as a birthday present. I used to play when I was 11 to about 14 but stopped due to depression. After finding your channel it rekindled my love for playing the violin and I realized just how beautiful of an instrument it really is. Your videos literally bring me so much joy... And it also cheers me up when I've had a bad day. Thank you for doing what you do. Ps: I'll make sure I practice 40 hours a day.

Yeah, medical/dental life doesn't leave much time for hobbies. I'm only able to pick up language & music study/practice because dental is locked down to emergency exams only where I'm at. I've started learning an instrument (a tutor comes over) alongside studying for a competitive exam. I used to watch TwoSet for fun, but now I understand the pain.
I wish I could practice. I'm deployed and don't have any access to musical instruments. Even if I did, there's a 24-hour quiet hours that would prevent me from practicing. I have never missed music this much.

for those who don’t know organs normally have 3 layers. top for the altos and sopranos. middle for the tenor and sometime for the bass and the bottom as you’ve seen for the bass. from my experience an organists plays all these layers. it’s really hard and takes a lot of coordination. shoutout to my kinda teacher but not really kuya Lance who plays the organ and i just found out he’s a lingling.
Angelique Dorothy Not exactly. The different manuals (keyboards) are more for different stops (types of sound and volume). While it’s normal to play multiple parts like you could on a piano - plus your feet - it gets really fun when you have your dominant hand under your weak hand AND they’re crossed over. While your feet play something else entirely. And then your hands swap overall the time too. And if it’s Bach or something g you get to read totally random clefs (eg soprano rather than treble) while doing it all. At which point my brain goes 404 music not found.

I just slowed the vid down to 0.25 playback speed, and although I think I permanently damaged my ears and brain in general, I've finally been able to appreciate all the things that flash by in the intro! Wow!!
I've started learning an instrument (a tutor comes over) alongside studying for a competitive exam. I used to watch TwoSet for fun, but now I understand the pain.
I wish I could practice. I'm deployed and don't have any access to musical instruments. Even if I did, there's a 24-hour quiet hours that would prevent me from practicing. I have never missed music this much.

for those who don’t know organs normally have 3 layers. top for the altos and sopranos. middle for the tenor and sometime for the bass and the bottom as you’ve seen for the bass. from my experience an organists plays all these layers. it’s really hard and takes a lot of coordination. shoutout to my kinda teacher but not really kuya Lance who plays the organ and i just found out he’s a lingling.
Angelique Dorothy Not exactly. The different manuals (keyboards) are more for different stops (types of sound and volume). While it’s normal to play multiple parts like you could on a piano - plus your feet - it gets really fun when you have your dominant hand under your weak hand AND they’re crossed over. While your feet play something else entirely. And then your hands swap overall the time too. And if it’s Bach or something g you get to read totally random clefs (eg soprano rather than treble) while doing it all. At which point my brain goes 404 music not found.
