I saw Paul Rose live in Concert with Archie Brown and the young Bucks over 30 Years ago at the Gasthof Schlüter in Germany in my Hometown. I Remember my Friend the Owner of the Gasthof Schlüter called me up and said. The whole Band is great but the original Guitar Player from the Band is not on this Tour, he is replaced by a young Guitar Player called Paul Rose, never heard him before. I saw the Soundcheck Man...you must see him. Fantastic Player. I do it and Paul Rose blew me away. That was over 30 Years ago. After the Show we drink Bowle until Morning next Day. Funny Guy too. Thanks to put him out Thomas.

Even though you had not that big feelings about Tic Tac Toe and so on, i grew up and the first few guitar players that influenced me were you and jennifer batten. And because of Tic Tac Toe and Michael Jackson i found your and jennifers solo stuff. One thing leads to another and i found out about van halen on the michael jackson records, then i checked out van halen and guitarcentric music was all of a sudden a thing. When i think about it it is crazy :D Pop with guitar and rock elements sparked all my love for music making :D funny 10 year old me :D and then came new metal, prog, death metal, ...

Paul is the real deal!!!
For me Lou Reed's Rock' n' Roll Animal and Live were the biggest incentives to start playing guitar, I even thanked Dick Wagner for that. Together with Deep Purple, Pink Floyd and stuff like the Doobies, Steely Dan, Zappa, etc.

SOMETIMES STANDING IN PUDDLES .. EVEN LEFT OUT IN THE RAIN .. THERE IS NO BETRAYAL .. ALWAYS HE IS STRUMMING HIS SOUL OUT THROUGH HIS HEART SEAMS .. I REITERATE .. HE IS NEVER LUKE WARM .. HIS PASSION BURNS .. YOU'LL BE DROWNING IN THIS FEELING LONG AFTER .. ALWAYS .. LOVE WHAT YOU'RE FEELN .. B .. X

I made the same experience, first looking for the technical Heros and big guitar stars and after Steve Vai's virtuosity I lost all my interest in the shredders and went to the founders of Blues and Rock Music.
