This whole collection is my Go Too. I own many of the modern Synths, but those feel sterile and boring compared to the wild, rich, sometimes unhinged, most to Mrs beautiful qualities of these majestic synths
I ended up getting the v collection during its black friday sale. For $300 you're getting basically every major synth from every hit record made since 1970. It's truly crazy what you're getting for $300 or even $600 regular. That $600 might get you near 1 of these iconic synths in real hardware. You're getting them all with v collection. It would be nice to have them all in real hardware but that would cost you thousands of dollars and then you need to find working copies that haven't been trashed, most being over 35 years old. The instruments in v collection are not 100% carbon copies of the original but for the price you're getting 99% of the way there. It's insane value for music producers.
I bought the collection but I'm a noob and still trying to get it working on ableton. I thought it was working before but now i cant even open up pigments or collection to play with it.
@boo-la...only difference might be the price, as somebody who has used both Mini V and Monark They are trying to both sound like a Moog, they both do a great a job However you will find Mini V much easier to install and use strait off the bat Native Instruments Monark will need Reaktor 6 Player and some Native control thingy to register the product So you may be sifting though emails a bit before you set up Monark 😂
Got 32 gigs of ram on a PC laptop and now I have no issues whatsoever. Play with the buffer size also to get your own hardware sweetspot. 16g is still okay, but is you want to sequence polyphonic keys I'd suggest 32gb.
The Weekend. M83. Editors. Stranger Things soundtrack, John Wick soundtrack etc. There are many bands that use these sounds but not always so obvious. There's a big vapourwave, synthwave following too, and a new generation is begining to learn about Berlin school, as well as stuff from 90s rave culture.

Good explanation fpr the Mini V and i might have to focus on that SQ-80 because of the different waveforms to make new sounds

With any of Arturia's instruments (I have V Collection 9), how do I get them to their default, 'out of the box' state i.e. with no preset loaded?
Go to the preset chooser and select Template -> Default.
Very informative
Good demo, thanks.
Hey does it come with Drum Kits also?
I hear J Dilla all through this. His mini is in a museum .
So dope
I'm happy with analog lab
This bundle truly carried LoFi-House/House haha! Is there any sale soon?

Make sure you go to Ableton Preferences -> Plugins and make sure AU/VST/VST3s are all enabled.
What is the difference between Mini V and NI Monark??

Augumented series is seriously power hungry! Sadly! 😢

Very old sounds, no one uses them nowadays.
No many are used as bass minimoog was used in 24 magic hit song Bruno mars. Retro is new fad
