I just got this 3 weeks ago and the internet is trash. The wifi keep going out and Verizon told me we are supposed to get 1gbps, I can barely get 10mbps.
I had this problem you prob need to change your coax wires or Ethernet in the house I know it’s allot of work but you need to swap them to current standard
@@abstract5950 damn I solved the issue by keeping the extender in ethernet mode but it means I have a 100ft wire running across my house now but my blindspots are covered. Personally I think they made it like this because they're trying to push sales for their new mini extender which automat connects to the CR1000A without needing to be synced.

i have a friend says 1gb powers up their entire house..upstairs and downstairs...I cant find a table that says what speed per space served is adequate.
@@gqkev oh ok, my Verizon Fios internet was installed 2 days ago and I’m having issues with my upload speeds on my Xbox series s the download speed is fine I got of the phone with Verizon and they told me to take out the Ethernet cable that’s in the wan port of my router and connect it to my Xbox and my upload speed went from 40 upload to 400 so they came to the conclusion it might be my router so I’m getting a new one in the mail tomorrow hopefully that fixes my upload issues

I got a new squart router and the connections in the back are different from yours and router sucks. An extender they send with it doesn't work with the square router it only works for the old router and they know that and still send it to me and it's supposed to be free and they charged me Verizon sucks

I don’t know why I literally have the same thing and for some reason the internet from fios that I got will not work good at all on my Xbox it’s 1gb and when I try on any other device like my phone or laptop it’s good and it ain’t the Xbox bc I connect to a different WiFi and it wasn’t doing that the speeds that I’m getting on my Xbox is crazy for 1gb and it’s rt next to my Xbox bro it’s not Like it’s far

It’s actually 3 ports out and one port 1 . The orange port is the in and the others are the out .

Does it require a cable to be plugged in or does it get signal wireless from Verizon? I notice there’s a cable plugged in your fios box.

Go into wifi settings on your new phone and click on the 1 from your ISP and put in the password which is found on the bottom/back of the router
