How?? Did you Gave EJU for Entrance?? Is MEXT given Before EJU or After It?? What Stipend will you Get?? Is the Scholarship for 4 Years or 1 Year Only?? I Have So many Questions, Please Answer Some!
Trust me it's not that fun their i went for an internship and the vibe their isn't at all like any college campus everything is too serious and everyone is stressed out.
The background music is my playlist!!! Studying engineering + Japanese 80's City Pop = Sure pass ❤️ My fave JP city pop song is Telephone number. AWWWWOOOOOOOOO 56709!!
I think Japan has no excuse for me to sleep a while when I have (no) assignment. Sorry, my friend told me such a thing like that and made me think twice before having a flight to there :). However, I really appreciate the Japanese with work attitudes. My research concerns about the molecular plant in life science and I am still seeking good probabilities for continuing my interest.
Yep, I am just someone who did some research on the school. There is a program called the PEAK which is Programs in English At Komaba (which is one of UTokyo's campus). It is a four year program. All classes are taught in English but you will definitely have the opportunity to take Japanese language classes (no matter what level of Japanese proficiency you have before attending the program). You do not need to know Japanese to enroll in PEAK but to enroll in UTokyo as a freshman applicant pursuing a degree outside of what PEAK offers, you will. Take a look: peak.c.u-tokyo.ac.jp/
There is the PEAK program, but it's seperated from the tracks Japanese students follow. It's just a cheap tactics that elitist schools (UTokyo, l'X ...etc) use to make it sound on paper that they have international students.
There is also Global Science Course (GSC) at the Department of Chemistry. Every year they select a few undergraduate students globally into the third year of the program.
I guess that is the difference. I studied at U.S., and started to take upper division classes at my second year. SOme were taking upper division classes at their first year.
Leave the hard exam stuff to us...do we get scholarships for international students... And on what is it based on... I tried to go through the details earlier, but everything was written in Japanese... So i couldn't understand it...
You probably really don't, at least in this context. I'm actually a student at Todai (the University of Tokyo), and when he says "liberal arts", he means the required courses to prepare for more advanced studies, i.e. calculus, linear algebra, mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, molecular chemistry, informatics, etc. English and one other foreign language are required and you can also choose electives from a wide variety of fields, even if you do plan on studying engineering, so it technically translates to "liberal arts". Very different from the West.
