But for whatever reason, can't deny it felt unresponsive sometimes... but oddly enough it did seem to correlate with my frustration...

What's actually gut-busting here is that this didn't even happen during those infamous delayed attacks so many ER bosses and enemies have, but during regular attacks that any Souls veteran should be able to roll through by now.

I'ma be real, my own reactions to Rykard were quite possibly even more toxic than Phil's. Good GOD that particular boss just tweaked some part of my brain that just made me frothingly enraged.
I forget how awful that first tree sentinel segment was. If you play for five more minutes you get the horse and the fight becomes trivial, but Piggy wanted to prove he was a hardcore gamer. Funny how he dropped that mindset and spammed jumping heavies and overleveled for the mid to late parts. Seriously, Fire Giant and Radagon did no damage to the Pigroach and they hit extremely hard.
In his review, he even said the jump attacks were OP and he was overleveled for the late game. But, he didn't nothing to stop that! He was glad to just trivialize the game, and in his own words, turn Bosses into afterthoughts

My favorite parts of this compilation are all the times he claims to be rolling, but you can clearly see that his character is in the middle of a different animation that is distinctly not tied to the dodge mechanic. Seriously though, Elden Ring is the only FromSoftware game I’ve played, and I’m consistently doing better than the guy who’s been playing these games since 2011, it’s honestly baffling.
Duke makes smaller versions. There are others that last about an hour per video out there if you can't wait for a massive one. I'm fine with both styles and I like watching his fails because at least I didn't fail this badly at the game despite being horribly new to the genre.

To be fair I probably had that many but I explored every nook and cranny, went to weeping peninsula and went 5 steps into caelid before fighting margit. I had heard how hard he was and thought you know what? Gonna get some loot. I also tried to fight most enemies I came across including the bears which cost me a ton of deaths and the crucible knight was the biggest wall in limgrave including margit. I'd say I did way more than him in limgrave so over 100 deaths is more justified.

That guy is just not suited for playing games like this holy shit at this point I would just question my sanity and maybe just maybe delete the game.
Phil gets paid a guaranteed 100 bucks or more every time he streams this game (except for 2 streams where he got at least over 30 bucks), so Phil knows where the money is at, even if he constantly complains while playing.
to be fair to dsp - if there was a duplication exploit, he would've done a lot better.
