I age myself but I remember them being a bit younger! Linda with the Gaither gatherings, Michael w/DC Talk and now with the News Boys! GOD is so FAITHFUL! They even sound alike!!!

I am sitting here watching this thinking these people thought on we had to sit around the table every single night with the whole family...and I think wow you GOT to sit with your whole family and no one was drunk or getting smacked around, you were blessed.
I didn't know they were siblings either, love both of them. Just saw Newsboys and MercyMe in Fairfax VA, loved every minute of the event. Both Lynda and Michael are so richly blessed with talent, I could listen to them sing all day.

Michael is so sweet and humble, I met him in Rockford, IL. I asked him about Lynda, I admire her so.
Oh I loved this. I too was brought up without hate. My brother brought people home from college to stay the night or summer. My dad brought boys home for a home cooked meal from the base he worked. If people made fun of me I never knew it. You see I didn't understand what they were saying, I was confused. One friend said don't you know they are making fun of you and I didn't understand why. I'm 71 and I still don't know why, praise the Lord! 🌱

Thanks for posting the video! There's definitely a strong family resemblance. The first time I saw Lynda on one of the Gaither videos, I was almost 100 percent sure that she was Michael's sister. Such a talented family! For what it's worth, I had a chance to meet their dad back in 1995 after a DC Talk concert in the Woodlands (TX). After meeting the guys backstage, I sat down and ended up talking with an older black gentleman. We probably talked for 20 minutes before I asked his name and then realized I was talking with "Nate Tait." Wow! That was a day I'll never forget.
Wow! Colours don't hate, people do. Micheal n Lynda thank you for sharing your up bringing in church and hope that one day you will both share more to encourage others. Enjoyed listening. God bless you.

Oh my gosh, they talked about Leon Pattillo, Larnelle, , and of course the great Russ Taff! And Michael is correct, the Walls CD and Metals were two of Russ Taff‘s best albums. My favorite song by Russ Taff? I Still Believe! Watching this interview was great, and I love Michael’s voice!

I have met them both but never in the same setting. I admire their sibling relationship. Love the example of how she raises her daughters undivided. I too have always been the only black person. Yes, I am black, but that is not how people who know me will remember me.

Can totally relate to ya'll!! My dad is a minister. Members of our church would watch us like a hawk. Other kids could do anything and if we looked wrong we were pounced on and told on!! lol And yes...we lived in the parsonage next to our church as well!! So I can totally relate!!

I thank you for having and sharing this discussion Mark, Andrew, Lynda, and Michael. Coming from a place of having been enslaved personally. Then God blessing me with parents that are black, I see things from a most unique point of view. What I find so hilarious that is that my Dad and Mom tend to go to predominately white churches and I tend to go to predominately black churches. It just hit me funny when someone pointed that out to us.
There is no possible way to be in Christ and of God and proclaim hate of another in Christ and of God. That is simply evil and rebels against what Jesus said the second commandment being "like unto the first" to love your neighbor as yourself. Racism is pure evil and to combat that is to walk in forgiveness and love. The Tait/Randle family have that in spades.
