    Another great Dinner Conversation! I live in an area that is all white. Our churches are too! I was raised in an urban area so I know diversity but most Christian's can't understand. My brother has a daughter that is married to a black man and will not speak to her or have anything to do with his grandchildren. So sad he is missing out on those beautiful babies. I keep praying God will heal he is not saved but does believe in God. Keep up the great programs and touching people's life's! God bless

      Mary it is so...but there is a breakdown in your brothers heart and he is hurting whether she married a black man or she's on drugs...its the expectation for his daughter that he had planned for her that he didn't consider would play out. He's still holding out that if he keeps the wall up she'll come to her senses. I feel so sad for him because he's hurting his little girl. His love for her is conditional and the expectations to live up to his love and not God's is a burden for any daughter. I'll be praying for him.

    Dear Mark, again your ministry has an impact on my life. I have lost track of a dear friend who saw me through an overwhelming time of taking care of my grandmother, my mother and my husband. I’ll never forget the funerals of her parents where we were twice the only 2 white people there. We joined them in singing each parent into the arms of our precious Lord and Savior. I’m sure they heard us in heaven. I’ll start trying to find her tomorrow. Thank you so very much.

    I'd like to see White Christians get out of their bubbles, and take the initiative to educate themselves on other cultures and races...to bring something to the table. They shouldn't wait to be educated by others, or put the burden on them.

    I don't even understand the term interracial. I mean, we are one, ONE, race, the human race. We are colors but so what? How boring would a painting be if it was 1 color? Would there even be a picture? You need more than 1 color for a beautiful picture to appear. She is beautiful, period. He is handsome, period.

      And God wanted variety in creation. He said to pray that earth becomes like heaven, where color is there, but it doesn’t matter. And God loves variety. Look at Animals such as all the different Dogs, as they come in all shapes, colors and sizes. Look at flowers, the beautiful variety. In the US people have become offended with the word Diversity! And that’s so unlike GOD!

    Wait. I heard someone in this show say, “They were great Christians” in reference to their parents. Then the following comment was about that same great Christ-like father crying, in sorrow, because his Christian son fell in love with a beautiful daughter of the Lord God Almighty, who is Jesus Christ’s own Father; because of her skin tone. THAT’s “great” Christianity??? So, does God love dark skinned people? Does God cry if a dark skinned person falls in love with him and his son, meaning, the dark skinned person is in love with the Christ? And what happens if and when Christ falls in love with and saves through redemption those dark skinned people??? For this interview makes me question why those people are “great” Christians? So, are those people a reflection of the Christ they are greatly like?

    • @lauratracey1405

      They are not great christians. Because God is not partial, out of one set of parents came on the people on the earth. So they need to get over it because the world is ever changing and will continue to.

    The husband indicated he grew up in a Christian home 🏡what does that look like. What are the views because in recent years many of us in the wider public have Come to learn that many white Christians views the world 🌎through their white lenses and their words and actions have matched accordingly to the point of supporting a racist and justifying it with the Bible teachings. Here's a gentleman stating that he was raised as a Christian but yet he had to prep and work on his family to accept someone of the AA culture that he was dating. Really Christian right!

    The more wisdom God imparts, the more I understand that as followers of Christ, we must take on an eternal view with regard to Christ's body. He loves us and we have been given the directive to love our neighbors. Those neighbors include people who have a relationship with Christ and especially people who do not have that relationship. We MUST love well the spirit in the person.

    Would you do an episode with guest who have dark skin and the topic is not race related? I think that helps break the divide and division in America and the American church. Can’t the dark skinned guest offer something more than how to treat and accept dark skin people? By hearing a darker skinned person share as a psychologist or expert or musician shows acceptance. Not to sound weird, but I can say the influence Oprah offered our nation was the ability to show her audience ALL people; it was as if she and those on her shows were simply Americans.

    • @lauratracey1405
      @lauratracey1405 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      America has always been divided and for as long as Jehovah God allows her to exist will be divided. Because of the foundation that it was built on. It is so sad but so true. But know this with the guarantee from God's Word the Bible that wonderful wonderful days are just ahead of us. But not from the hand of men. God's kingdom will bring these beautiful changes about that will benefit everyone living on the earth. And there is absolutely nothing that anyone can do to change that
      It will absolutely happen in the very near future.
