In 2014 I created my TH-cam account "Tourist to Local" as a way to document my study abroad adventure in Chile. Over 6 years later, Tourist to Local has turned into a travel community on TH-cam that is focused on sharing our favorite travel memories. Along with my husband, Martín from Bitácora de Viajero, we make bilingual videos providing tips and guides to create memorable and unique vacations. Travel is attainable, and our goal is to show you how you can travel too, whether it's for a weekend or a year!

This brought back memories. There is a thriving American community there most in the Art's. I made decent money being a figure model for the art institute and local artists. Glad to see Mama Mia's. Hung out there often.

Another fantastic video! Keep them coming! Question: Are there any fun outdoor activities to do here besides walking around and visiting the historical sites?! e.g. horseback riding, ATV/mopeds, visiting natural wonders, cool bars etc?

Explore the parks and botanical gardens, go horseback trail riding, scoot around the campos on quads and dirt bikes - visit the multiple hot springs and the water park! Check out the ruins at the canyon of the Virgin! LOTS of local activities! Check with the desk at most hotels to see what’s on offer for their guests, and pick up Fridays “Atencion” paper, and peruse the Que Pasa middle section for activities, classes, courses, and various activities planned for the week!

I was trying to figure out where I want to visit in Mexico and this video may have helped me decide on San Miguel de Allende. If I go next month in June 2019, how will the weather be?
