- In this video I fix some minor rust on my Renault 5 GT Turbo ph2 and i reupholster all the seats with new covers, I also try to make the foam bolsters myself out of an old madras...
Cant wait to sit in these nice and comfy seat while making chu chu noises! hopefully the car will do that for me.... if not, ill do it myself!
Looks great. I'd be happy with that for a first time. Shouldn't be long now until we here that Turbo whistling down the road 😉👍

Haha yes... there is plenty of stuff i cant repair, at least not in the first try.... but I really dislike it when i cant so sometimes I just keep on trying and trying and trying.... Im not always very good, but always very persistent ;)
Hog Rings! So much easier with Hog ring pliers! Well done.
Yes... in hindsight i should really have invested in one of those... I really messed my finger/hands up doing it with the wrong tools! haha ;)
@@SeasideGarage You still did a great job, but I felt your pain! My seat experiences are with replacing the seat bottoms of Saab seats that collapse, with a spring mat with impossibly strong springs, and 2CV seats which are very easy. I have repaired a Panhard seat which had more hog rings than your Renault. A pity the International Saab meeting which was to be in Denmark had to be cancelled!

Yea the 2cv seat is a Joy to fix... So simple and yet sooo comfy!

Flot arbejde, men du har monteret forsæderne omvendt. De skal lige byttes rundt. Håndtaget til at lægge sæderne ned skal vende mod håndbremsen.

how do you remove back seat?
Bolts at the front lower end.
The backs slide off the metal case - the seat belt holders are just pop off once you can access the foam
