A writer for Spin Magazine who saw the episode and missed the joke wrote an article for Spin's website blasting the episode's unfair treatment of Lorde, so Matt & Trey (in their trolly wisdom) decided to go with his incorrect interpretation and reveal that Lorde is actually Randy Marsh (going the extra mile by including the writer himself, in all his offended glory, in the episode).
Their episode about Scientology and Tom Cruise, is still one of the greatest episodes of all time. I love how they put him in a literal closet and had him packing literal fudge, so they could avoid any lawsuits by not actually saying that he was gay, haha 😆..Greatest trolls of all-time!! Honestly, South Park does provide some pretty meaningful social commentary, especially here lately. People believe it is nothing but crude humor and fart jokes. While they may have been true in the first few seasons, they slowly evolved and matured with time. They're not scared to talk about REAL issues in society and I completely respect them for it. They're the undisputed kings of satire.

South Park is so good I couldn't never pick a favorite episode. Just when I think in can narrow it down, I remember another episode that is pure comedic gold!
