Automobilista 2 Has The Best GT4 Cars Since Patch V1.5

Since AMS2's latest V1.5 physics patch, the cars are feeling great, and the GT4 cars stand out for me as some of the best GT4 cars in sim racing.

Nice video, and I totally agree. The BMW was undriveable when it first came out but now feels and handles great. The Ginetta is tops for my setup but I enjoy them all now.

The quality of this class is incredible now. Coming from Iracing the feeling is very close with richer ffb in ams2. For example the McLaren in iracing has a very unique feel and I find quite the same in ams. Ams2 default ffb is not as well calibrated as in iracing but with some adjustments (lower the dampening for me and csl dd) I got ride of slidey feeling. Much more lively ffb than in iracing.

About a Year or So ago. LFM had a Poll on their website on which Sim to get on next
Overwhelmingly fans chose AMS2
However LFM cannot control races because the online for AMS is Peer 2 Peer

I agree. I used to favour the ginetta but since 1.5 I’ve been loving the BMW.

Completely agree, these things are so good now. Personally I like the Merc, BMW & Ginetta; can't get on with the Porsche for some reason, which is odd because I love the GT3, GT1 & Cup Porsches. Great content as usual!

Excellent video. I totally agree with your comments. There is a LFM like ranked multiplayer system for AMS2 called racecraft online. You should check it out. Has been slowly growing. It has a rotating roster of hourly and weekly races with GT4 featuring pretty consistently. I would love to see what you think of it.

I like the mclaren the best. I don't understand why more people don't try ams 2. The fact that REIZA support the title is enough to see that they want to make it the best sim they can make. Great video mate 👍

Hello, in this video you did tell that you run with "default +" Now I wonder how much Nm is your wheelbase put out for the game? And what are your Gain controll and damping set to in game?
And what car specific ffb settings do you use?

I use the same settings pretty much for all cars, I set ffb gain in ams2 to 70. Damping in fanatec is on 20. I'm using 8nm csl dd.

I always seem to get weird black areas (what looks like smoke) in the braking zones when I race in the dark… it’s so weird and kinda ruins it. Not even sure if it happens on transition or just night time ….you ever seen anything like that?
Happened literally the other day on a multi class at spa starting at say 9pm in game, just looks awful.

It worries me with Le Mans incoming that it will ruin it.

iRacing is still better at gt4s but great improvement from ams2

Physics probably better in iracing, but great ffb in AMS2.

Both ACC and AM2 have pretty lousy AI's imho. Not aggressive enough to defend their lines. At least AM2 USED to. Maybe this new update changes it, I have to test it.
Other than that, both are great sims though.
