  • For the conclusion, you can skip to 7:56
In case you're wondering why I choose to compare between Mirages at that specific level; it's because this is the level the Normal Version was maxed. Since the Star version gets maxed before the Normal version in all cases, the Star version had to be leveled an extra 10 or so levels to reach the same level as the Normal version.
Summary in text form (Can be found in the video at 7:56)
    Star Version:
    Pros
Easy to max the entire board [Lv. 50 to 60].
    Early access to advanced skills.
Very strong early on in the game due to sync
    bonuses being easily achieved.
    Cons
No resize or transformation is possible.
    Renaming is not available.
From level 80+, the stat gap between the
normal and star version increases. At level 90+
you are at a disadvantage if you use the star version.
    Normal version
    Pros
Ability to take on multiple forms/sizes.
    Eventually grows to become stronger
than the star version of the same mirage
    [Notable from Level 80+].
Can be renamed to anything you like.
    Cons
    Multiple advanced skills and
abilities can be learned very late.
Leveling up past 60 gets difficult
and even harder from 80 on-wards.
Due to slow progression and missing
out on sync bonuses, stats are very low
at the early stages (Lv. 1 to 50).
    Summary:
Star Version of Mirages is only good at the early to middle game. At the later part of the game, you're better off using Normal versions. The stats start shifting in favor of the Normal Mirage from level 80+ and can be easily seen from 90 and higher.
If you're low on levels and need to grind faster, these videos should be of help to you ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
    Leveling and grinding zones recommendations:
Level 10 to 30: • WORLD OF FINAL FANTASY...
Level 30 to 45: • WORLD OF FINAL FANTASY...
Level 45 to 70: • WORLD OF FINAL FANTASY...
Level 70 to 99: • BEST FARMING SPOT - WO...
Hope to see you guys again once Final Fantasy 15 is out!
World of Final Fantasy is an upcoming role-playing video game being developed by Square Enix and Tose and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita consoles. It is scheduled for a worldwide release in October 2016. Returning to a more traditional gameplay style from earlier Final Fantasy titles, it revolves around turn-based battles which utilize the series' recurring Active Time Battle system, augmented with a stacking mechanic where stacking allied characters and monsters affects stats and turn numbers.
World of Final Fantasy is primarily set in the world of Grymoire, a land populated by classic Final Fantasy characters and monsters from across the series, while being unconnected to any other series entry. The storyline focuses on siblings Lann and Reynn, who suffer from amnesia and hold the power in one of their arms to capture and wield Mirages, the monsters of Grymoire. Lann and Reynn travel to Grymoire to recover their memories, gradually mastering their powers and becoming involved in the conflicts consuming the world - these include fights between rival factions within the native Lilikins, and the impending threat of the Bahamut Army.
Development started around the concept of a Final Fantasy title aimed at a wider and younger audience, focusing on a light tone and stylised graphics compared to the mainline entries. It was the directorial debut of Hiroki Chiba, who had worked as a scenario writer for the series and also created the story for World of Final Fantasy. The character designs, which were directly influenced by the chibi designs for Pictlogica Final Fantasy, were created by Yasuhisa Izumisawa; the larger characters were designed by Tetsuya Nomura. The music was written by Masashi Hamauzu, and again aimed to be lighter in tone and incorporating remixed classic themes and original music.
First announced at the 2015 Electronic Entertainment Expo, World of Final Fantasy was intended as a celebratory title to commemorate the series' 30th anniversary. A worldwide release was planned from an early stage, with localization running parallel to the development and Japanese voice recording. In order to keep the characters true to their original appearances, the localization staff who first handled them were brought in to translate their dialogue.

I prefer certain star versions since some talk during certain spells, where is the normal sometimes is just silent.
Eg. Star Ifrit says 'hell fire'' when using hell fire, where as the normal is just silent. XD

As noted at the end. The higher level you get them the stats get vastly different. Normal version always better at max level.

Well u forget, about the skillboard. Most of the star have extra blanks for better custom. And sometimes the Star have a skill that is useful, but it was not shared when in the normal one. :/

Hi Madness, i have a question, wich mastery bonus is better for mirages? cause i can't decide if the +++ abilities are better of its better to get other spells/abilities

      Hey Pizzatoto!
In most cases, a mirage gains a very rare special ability. I highly recommend you get the ability instead of a stat.

This page will help you a lot: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1YUmvb-Yne7FCcb7OFAxbXecH3BU5Y4cAuVZir0gOmFs/edit#gid=0
A prime example of what you may consider a useful rare ability is Shiva's Strategic AP Hike. This ability gives you AP every time you hit an elemental weakness. If you use this and have all -Ra (Fira, Thundara, Watera...etc) spells + Battery Charged Ability... lol XD You walk around blasting everything for 20,000+ damage and you almost never run out of AP.
This is just one example of how a Mastery Skill unlocks a whole different fighting style.

i have a question about the miragboard when i use vita(the heal spell) or any other spell like fire/ice on let's say 2 free skill slots from the miraboard does it upgrade the spell like vita heals more or fire does more dmg ? Or does it do nothing and is just wasting a slot ?

    • @MadnessGaming85
      @MadnessGaming85  8 ปีที่แล้ว

Yurin sama The save is shared via synchronization so as long as you upgrade, cross save then power up your Playstation you will retain all your upgrades.

    • @MadnessGaming85
      @MadnessGaming85  8 ปีที่แล้ว

Yurin sama and vice versa. If you upgrade on Playstation, cross save, power up your vita and you should have everything.

sry i asked about the skill vita(i mean the heal spell) not the Playsystem ><
My english sucks sorry. I try to ask it better.
I wanted to know if it makes Vita(the heal skill) or any spell like ice/fire stronger or something when i use it 2 x on 1 Mirage on the free skill slots on the Miraboard. Hope that's explains it better >

Yurin sama I didn't play the game on a Vita so I can't tell you with 100% confidence. Can you explain what's the difference on Vita? I was under the impression that both games are identical and as long as you upload your save you retain everything.

Normal version for long game, Star version for late game, when you know what skill your need, but I prefer normal version more.

why do you talk so fast? when you do that its very hard to understand you. stay calm buddy

    • @MadnessGaming85
      @MadnessGaming85  8 ปีที่แล้ว +5

I'll keep that in mind :) It's just my nature that I talk so fast but I have been told the same before and I guess two completely different people can't be making up things.
Thanks for taking the time to leave such constructive feedback!
