I like the stone foundation with the yellow brick walls. Looks like they still check up on the place judging by the 2010’s BEST lock on the door. I really like the institutional construction style there.

The lock may be from 2012 when the area was badly damaged by hurricane forces .There are about 20 of those buildings all with same design . I believe they are from 1890`s

Super cool video NorthJersey! I love looking in old buildings like these. Most of them don't look too bad, considering. One question, though -- WHEN CAN I MOVE IN?? LOL.

These buildings are extremely dangerous to enter and are too far gone but some here and there are still intact . There are plans to turn many of the buildings into apartments , condos , restaurants hotels etc as it is right on the beach .It will take some time . The roofs are maintained and some places still have items left behind since 74 .

Cool video. I go there all the time and look at these abandoned buildings. Some of those buildings are in use. The Coast Guard has a base there. There are other buildings there that are used by a college..

I don’t understand why they have not turned theses into housing, we did that here in Vermont they are beautiful and serve a purpose. So sad! Be safe!

Because of the location. This is a wealthy area and homeowners don't want *_those people,_* meaning renters, living in the neighborhood & decreasing their property value. NIMBY's 😷👍 #truestory

Yes I liked that floor as well .There are too many buildings and houses to check out in one afternoon . It is only a 60 minute ride so I might return again .

First time for me not going there for the beach . I did go the beach for about an hour to wash off the webs and dust from exploring dozens of ruins .

That's very cool. I went into a time capsule house! I recently bought a dresser from a guy here in Little Egg Harbor where I am now. When I went to look at it he told me he bought the house as is. It was amazing! Things from 60s. I wanted everything. Lol. Very very cool.

the buildings behind that all looked the same looks like barracks and the house type ones in front were probably for captains or high rank officers. the styles of the buildings id have to say are probably WW2 era. nice vid :) hugs and love :D
