I'm in central Ohio and just love visiting all the shops in Holmes County. It's just a lovely area with lots to see and do. Such a friendly and diverse area. It's COLD here on the 18th, supposed to warm back into the 70's next weekend so pack for anything in Ohio. LOL I'm sure you know that well!. Have a wonderful trip and enjoy your time together.

My husband and I have been in AMI for our anniversary. We went to Yoder's Restaurant for lunch today and took a little ride around Pinecraft! We have been down here since last Monday and head back to NH on Friday. Love your videos!!
I can relate to moving houseplants! I’m glad that a lot of our moves have been local and I could just make trips in the car with hard to pack things and tucking plants here and there. And then maybe a few more trips with the car loaded only with plants! 😂 There are four, I think, that no longer fit in the car tho. I had our hibiscus plant and a jasmine plant out all summer and have had to bring them inside the last couple of nights because of freezing temperatures. Half of my kitchen is taken over by them! Meanwhile, the hibiscus has around 10 blooms open and another 10 getting ready to open. The jasmine is blooming too. I guess they’re not ready for winter yet! 😊 Once I know they’re in for good I’ll find a better place for them to settle. At least the jasmine smells good! 😅

Thank you all for sharing your story with all of us. When my family needs a break from the hustle and bustle of life we visit Amish Country here in our state of Ohio. We love it there! We visit the places that you and your husband recommend. Honestly, we did not know that there were as many sweet places to visit until you mentioned them in your videos. Yes, there are a lot of shops to stop at...but, the Hillcrest Orchard you mentioned for example has that nostalgic feeling that you go on trips for...if you know what I mean. It is like home! My husband and I traveled to Holmes County just last week. We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. We stayed at a beautiful Airbnb. My birthday was also that week and we went to East Main for supper. It was delicious - my husband said it was the best pork chops he'd ever eaten 😋 Unfortunately wasn't able to see Leaf and Linen, because it was a Monday and she was closed 😥 I made a list of so many places you and Mary from the White Cottage Co. suggested, and none of them disappointed! We especially loved our dinner at Der Dutchman in Berlin and our trip to Walnut Creek. The food upstairs in their Cafe was delicious - we had the pulled pork and chicken salad sandwiches. ❤️ Such a beautiful trip with gorgeous scenery 🍂🍁

Gal we went to Berlin last week went to Walnut Creek Store oh my gosh I could have stayed in that store all day. Loaded up on cheese and bunch of spices and more things for holiday cooking got it all back to East TN. Boy things have really changed in 20 yrs that’s how long it had been we had lunch in downtown little cafe that was a standing and waiting line over an hour everyday. They were known for their homemade pies that a lady in a bakery down the street bakes GREAT we stayed at the Berlin Estates and Spa just wanted you to know a lot of people knew you sweetie

Good Morning! Had to tell you we shopped at a Detwiler’s for the first time this week! Just moved to Venice Florida and I was happy to see one of their stores close by…great prices and good selection of produce. Smaller store, so we might head to Sarasota and check out a bigger one! 👍🏻
I have chronic illness, so I don't have a lot of energy to work out. I try to work out every other day, I go for 1 mile walks or do some lunges and light weight lifting (5-10lbs) at home on those days. Hope it helps!
My husband and I have bought, renovated and moved up in terms of size or better area numerous times over the last 40 years and it’s worked well for us. It’s exciting too to be able to make style changes etc. based on the age, style and structure of the house. We’ve been looking for another house to renovate/remodel for the last year which is difficult (and very expensive) in London, England.
I would head to the Peddler if I were to be in Holmes County 😊 it sells such amazing items and has a wonderful clothing outlet attached, also they are expanding the business's so even more goodies to look at. Great video Lynn and enjoy your trip away.
Orlando is great for kids and adults. However, it will be much more expensive than the beach. I came with my family twice a year to go to Disney and Universal. We always had a ball. Now, we have lived here in Orlando for 3 years. We love it. The Gulf has beautiful beaches but is more touristy. The Atlantic is more natural. Both are great. There is so much to offer for vacationers here. Don't limit yourself. Have a great time!!

We visited Holmes county last month. Lots to see. We brought home tons of cheese to Tennessee. Definitely eat at Yoders and drive to Mt. Hope

I would head to the Peddler if I were to be in Holmes County 😊 it sells such amazing items and has a wonderful clothing outlet attached, also they are expanding the business's so even more goodies to look at.

Orlando is great for kids and adults. However, it will be much more expensive than the beach. I came with my family twice a year to go to Disney and Universal. We always had a ball. Now, we have lived here in Orlando for 3 years. We love it. The Gulf has beautiful beaches but is more touristy. The Atlantic is more natural. Both are great. There is so much to offer for vacationers here. Don't limit yourself. Have a great time!!
