In today's video I documented almost a whole week in our life here in Florida. Sharing the ups and downs of buying a home. And lot's more!
Granola Recipe:For the original recipe go follow Heidi! / cfcvk6dj0rm
This is my version:
10 cups old fashioned oats
1 1/3 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup peanut butter or white chocolate chips
2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup Coconut
Stir together then add:
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 cup (2 sticks) melted butter
3/4 cup water
1/3 cup avocado oil (or another cooking oil. not olive oil though)
1 tsp. vanilla
Pour onto two big cookie sheets. Preferably put parchment paper under it.
bake at 275 for 20 minutes. Stir well to spread the chocolate chips. then bake another 40 minutes. Let it cool. then store in airtight container or freeze it. SO Yummy!

My youngest son had a bright red “strawberry” on his neck behind his ear. It was raised up like a pencil eraser. Doctor said it would go away on its own, in time. He was right. It was gone before he was in high school. Many blessings to you and your beautiful family!!
They are just strawberry 🍓 marks, it's a think apparently if you are born with one it's a sign that mum ate alot of strawberries while pregnant. I see nothing wrong with them to seek medical advice, it's what makes us all unique. If things aren't broken then we shouldn't try to fix them.

“Never Alone” was my maternal Grandmother’s favorite song. She passed in October 2021, but seeing that glass made me start singing that tune and caused lots of happy memories. Harper seems to be growing so fast like she is trying to catch up with her siblings☺️

I just wanted to say, I have trouble with making pie crusts too. I didn't hear if you weight the crusts down when making a pre baked crust to help with the shrinkage, so if you do please forgive me, but if you don't weight it down, you can use either line the crust with either parchment paper or aluminum foil and fill it with raw beans, rice, pie weights or I use sugar. If it still happens, it may be too much water. That's usually what happens to me. I use too much water. I hope this helps. Anyway, your food always looks delicious. So don't sweat it. 🙂❤
I don’t! But I saw my mother in law use weights. I did notice that the pie that I tucked the excess dough underneath the top and crimped it- didn’t shrink ?

I grow tomatoes, cucumbers, squash/zucchini, peppers, beans, kohlrabi, melons, rhubarb, and ground cherries. I have many different varieties of each, so it keeps me very busy. I also grow outside flowers for the pollinators, and the birds. Lots of sunflowers too!🌻 When I saw you buying green beans, I thought, oh I wish we didn’t live so far apart, because I have so many bush beans coming in right now, and I absolutely love to share my bounty. The Farm Dust is a fantastic seasoning. I use it when I cook fresh green beans, zucchini as well as on chicken! It’s a kitchen staple for me.

I was told at our local Mennonite store that Occidental flour is King Arthur bread flour for hotels and restaurants. Their all purpose flour is Sir Gallahad. I use these and they are good.
