Paragliding Low Save

Due to an inversion, I had not too much altitude reserve for a valley cross. Arrived on the other side quite low and didn't directly find a reliable updraft. I had to search a bit and finally could find a bumpy and difficult uplift on a gentle slope, supported by the valley breeze. It took me about 20 minutes to gain the altitude again so I could continue my flight and safely land near the launch place thus closing a flat 103 km triangle on that February day.

Wow superb! Great analysis of your thoughts too, pretty interesting. The "No" made me smile ahah. At the end, you decided to drift to the mountain quite low, but it worked really great, interesting. The thermal was really drifting, and you decided to go to the big field + steeper slope = success !
