Try putting the larger one through a resize tool to make it the same size as the smaller one before combining them together. Here's a free online GIF resize tool: ezgif.com/resize
GIPHY does have an option to set your GIFs to private. Their site states "Private GIFs cannot be seen by anyone but you when you are logged in and can't be shared."
You would upload it as an image from your device. If you mean getting it to come up in the GIF search features on those apps, you would have to create a GIPHY account and get approved as an artist for your GIFs to start coming up in those menus.
