Here's some other details (it's a long one): -The armed skeleton statue is the one that holds the key to unlock the Golden Sword in the Orient Expedition Temple of Mount Everest set. -The organ is called "Catarino's Organ" in reference to the same designer on the tombstone. -The tombstone next to Tiago's matches a classic brick used in the Black Sea's Barracuda. The same combination of pieces in the Haunted House was used to decorate Pirates of Barracuda Bay. -Catarino's Organ could also be a reference to the organ the evil Ogel played in an online interactive comic that LEGO hosted when the Alpha Team theme launched. He used it to control the weather with a machine it was attached to, but this is just theoretical. -The only theme that has a focus on a blue crystal is Ninjago. The "Realm Crystal" as it's referred to, has the ability to open up and transport people to different realms, such as the Land of Chima. It, however, never appeared in an apparatus like the one in the Haunted House, and the fact something similar appears in the design video would lean me more towards it being something else, but it's a theoretical something to consider. -Perhaps the oddest thing, the press release refers to Baron von Barron as "Samuel von Barron," which adds to an age old debate on whether he, or his curly mustachioed compatriot is "Sam Sinister." What's interesting is that, Baron von Barron's sister, as she was featured in the Dino Island subtheme, is referred to as "Alexia Sinister." It could be a pet name as apparently they're both a dynamic duo, making him "Baron Samuel von Barron the Sinister" if you would. The fact he's referred to as "Lord Sam Sinister" in Orient Expedition adds to that idea that they're one and the same. The guy with the curly mustache is often referred to as "Slyboots" as well in several bits of media, but this was also at the time where (1998-99), aside from Johnny Thunder, LEGO's publications couldn't decide on everyone else's names, which has lead to a lot of confusion. Sam Sanister (with an "a") was a typo on some set boxes, in subthemes where "Sinister" was used as well. It's very confusing. Great sleuthing, btw.
That was a great video man! Very insightful and cleared up some questions I had about a few things! The press release refers to the pipe organ, as the organ of Catarino, which is also the same guy referenced in the graveyard tombstone with the TC. Tiago played the organ when we was alive and gave some insights to Carl on how he should build the organ while still working for LEGO. I'm supposedly dead, so how am I writing this? 👻
You know you are old when sloped vent pieces are considered classic....Thanks for all the nostalgia....looks like it’s time to move all my old Adventures sets....
I wish Lego would make more tributes to their old themes like this. The designers must have had so much fun making this, references to Adventurers, Alpha Team, even Junkbot! So cool...
This set looks absolutely fantastic. I LOVE all the easter eggs! And just the overall look of the mansion is awesome, but what's really selling me is that organ. That organ design is just... beautiful. I'll have to get this one.
Since Baron Von Barron from adventurers has Ogels orb from alpha team That means adventurers which is connected to Dino, alien conquest, pharaohs quest, Atlantis, aqua raiders, and power miners And alpha team which is connected to agents, ultra agents, galaxy squad, and monster fighters Are all the same universe And hidden side too of course and perhaps fright knights too
@Flashfire x98000 Fright Knights was a sub-theme and faction of the LEGO System Castle theme, which would make classic LEGO Castle (LEGO System Castle and LEGOLAND Castle) connected to LEGO System Adventurers as well there! 😲 😲 😲 ⚔️🛡️🦇 ⚔️🛡️🦇 ⚔️🛡️🦇 🧐🧭 🧐🧭 🧐🧭
The ride car pice that they used came from Adventures used in most of the car designs. It has only appeared once (to my knowledge)since then in a hidden side set where it was also used as a vehicle.
Oh my goodness, I need that Junkbot. He's pretty much the only reference in this set that means anything to me, being a 2000's kid. Also, is that TC tombstone using an illegal connection?
Yeah. Although I'm pretty sure that it's now legal. The legality of building connections changes almost every year so I'm not sure whenever it's still illegal or not
In the designer video, the designer said he brought in his kid so he could add some elements. One of the elements the kid added was the hanging skeleton, which leads me to believe the hanging skeleton is not a reference to anything, rather a feature that the kid thought was cool
I would say that nr 7 is more likely a reference to the orient expedition set 7417 temple of mount everest. Since inside the temple build there is an identical gem holder build. 7417 kan also be seen in the background in the designer video. However that's my 2 cents on it.
Easter egg 11: "no one was able to figure out what this was" I commented on your post yesterday about how the blue gem is another reference to many orient expedition sets and the gold and blue colorscheme is the revised version of the colors used predominantly in some adventureres sets, where yellow was used almost as a gold-ish color. That structure is as a whole a reference to the colors used to represent treasure or items of value in the original line. whatever, lol
Many interesting finds! I didn't even catch some of these like the Junkbot one. I was wondering what was in that box, but now I recognize him, I loved that game growing up! I actually had some of the Adventurers sets it references so this really takes me back. #11 had me stumped too. My guess is it's another one of those rare (possibly cursed) gems Barron stole from some tomb or sacred ruin site. The display case it's held in gives off a Dr. Frankenstein's lab kind of vibe, hinting that the gem is a power source with the tubes and things sticking out to harness its energy. Given how close the device is to the elevator, I'd almost guess that it's what runs the elevator and since it's tampering with ancient magic, the gem is what causes the elevator to malfunction and drop. I could be wrong but it's a fun theory to add to the spooky story, in the vein of Tower of Terror's backstories in both Florida and Tokyo. Especially the latter since Tokyo's also centers around a world-travelling "collector" that steals artifacts and treasure, one of which winds up cursing him and his estate. The frog gargoyles are cute but I'm surprised they haven't reused the gargoyle minifigure parts from series 14. I might just have to figure something out since I have a few extras of him on standby. All in all, wonderful set and great insight on it!^^
3:40 that’s from LEGO ninjago and it calls like the dimension jewel ( not the official name ) appeared in the ninjago 2015 ghost season in the destiny’s bounty and wu’s dragon. I think that the 8 year old designer’s son is a ninjago fan and he putted there that dimension jewel. It’s just my opinion.
I’m kinda on the fence about this set. From the exterior it looks so perfect but I really don’t like the fact that it’s a ride instead of a real haunted mansion. Junkbot is a big plus tho lol
Okay, it's just my theory but I firmly believe that Hidden side ghosts are caused by Baron's shenanigans. I don't know how or why, but come on, that would be so cool
So I wanna know the lore of this. Does this set mean the Barron is fake in that universe and they made a haunted house about it or is he real in that universe, and if it’s that then is it his estate that became a haunted house or a haunted house based on his legacy? I need to know.
Most likely that he’s real. There’s so many details that point to him being real. Think about it we got Johnny thunder in last years CMF and we even got his partner pippin reed in a lego city set the safari one that comes with a cheetah
Is it just me or are all lego villains a part of the same lineage? If I'm remembering this correctly Ogel, Vladek, Baron Von Baron, and Basil are all blood related, possibly more.
Lego : Talk about how funny the frog as gargoyle Me: You could have done better *immediately remember that the arkham asylum used the frog piece upside down as s full gargoyle head instead*
Here's some other details (it's a long one):
-The armed skeleton statue is the one that holds the key to unlock the Golden Sword in the Orient Expedition Temple of Mount Everest set.

Great sleuthing, btw.
Amazing. Thank you for adding more to this :D
The realm crystal was darker blue though
Only what I saw was the blue crystal from Ninjago
So now that LEGO has connected most of their themes, It’s almost like a LEGOverse.
The LCU (Lego Cinematic Universe)
@@synrgi the arrow is my fav show
And then there was the Atlantis/Alien Conquest/Pharaoh's Quest/ Dino crossover. That blew my 10-year-old mind.
Do you have a copy of that crossover comic? I can’t find scans or pictures of it anywhere
It’s been connected for aaaaaages. Ninjago and clutch powers are connected, and. Just think about what clutch powers has in it!
Great insight from a former Lego designer! Wish you the best on your future endeavors!
You're the best!
Same
This just makes me wish that Lego should revamp the Adventurers theme or make a legacy wave of sets
You know you are old when sloped vent pieces are considered classic....Thanks for all the nostalgia....looks like it’s time to move all my old Adventures sets....
When you're a 2000's kid and you don't understand half of the easter eggs
Bruh moment
I Am from 2006 but i understood all of this easter eggs, cause i Am a lego fan!
I grew up with all of the themes referenced here, this is like a treasure trove to me.
Junkbot truly blew my mind. And it feels weird to be considered "older" but... I get it I guess.
Junkbot is a reference I thought only I knew. Wild.
I wish Lego would make more tributes to their old themes like this. The designers must have had so much fun making this, references to Adventurers, Alpha Team, even Junkbot! So cool...

And alpha team which is connected to agents, ultra agents, galaxy squad, and monster fighters
Are all the same universe
And hidden side too of course and perhaps fright knights too
So it’s all pretty much a LEGOverse kinda like the mcu. Also there is Hidden Side.
Yeah basically
@Flashfire x98000
Fright Knights was a sub-theme and faction of the LEGO System Castle theme, which would make classic LEGO Castle (LEGO System Castle and LEGOLAND Castle) connected to LEGO System Adventurers as well there! 😲 😲 😲 ⚔️🛡️🦇 ⚔️🛡️🦇 ⚔️🛡️🦇 🧐🧭 🧐🧭 🧐🧭
It's the closest thing we'll get to a Lego Tower of Terror set. One of my favorite rides at Disney World. The Tokyo version is pretty cool too
For gargoyles they should have used the seagull piece in grey
The ride car pice that they used came from Adventures used in most of the car designs. It has only appeared once (to my knowledge)since then in a hidden side set where it was also used as a vehicle.
Oh my goodness, I need that Junkbot. He's pretty much the only reference in this set that means anything to me, being a 2000's kid.
Also, is that TC tombstone using an illegal connection?
Yeah. Although I'm pretty sure that it's now legal.
The legality of building connections changes almost every year so I'm not sure whenever it's still illegal or not
One thing to add on to the junk bot legs are that his upper body is found right beside them
They need to remake those sets.
I love you channel Man!!!!i am from México
I recall those 1x2 computer tiles from so many Blacktron 2 sets quite fondly, and I hope they make a comeback outside of this set.
Also for #23, the Roman numerals DMVII are the same as the set number: 6007
Hey cool you used my findings from the developer of the Ideas ship in a bottle thanks I appreciate it 👌
Ya thanks again man. Other people went one step further and explained how he's left LEGO which is why he's "dead"
Ashnflash yeah he even pointed it out and he thought it was hilarious cause he is hypothetically “dead” to lego 😂
Yeah I think that’s a really cool little easter egg. :)
The stone frog (gargoyle) was also used in one Heroica set as a fountain statue.
Can you please make a video about all the connected LEGO themes like adventures and Dino
Yeah, that would be pretty awesome. I kinda lost track over the years...
In the designer video, the designer said he brought in his kid so he could add some elements. One of the elements the kid added was the hanging skeleton, which leads me to believe the hanging skeleton is not a reference to anything, rather a feature that the kid thought was cool
Very cool video, I love the Easter eggs
6:25 Good catch

At Legoland there's a drop tower exactly like this don't know if this is just a coincidence or the main inspiration
Easter egg 11: "no one was able to figure out what this was"

whatever, lol
Do you have a set reference?
I love your content, I think TH-camrs should be essential. kepp up the great work
*keep* lol
Thank you! I'll try!
Love this set
It's incredible that 1 set can have so many refrences
Two words: Ninjago City
The obelisk spelling ogel could be a reference to the alpha team line- I believe ogel was the name of the villain.
3:42 I think it's the crystal from Lego Ninjago morro's dragon. I think it's called airjitzu temple.
Good call. Seems likely
Hey ash good video
Great breakdown!
Many interesting finds! I didn't even catch some of these like the Junkbot one. I was wondering what was in that box, but now I recognize him, I loved that game growing up! I actually had some of the Adventurers sets it references so this really takes me back.

Did some digging. It's called the realm crystal. That's an excellent theory. Best one I'd heard so far.
Ashnflash, thanks. I only remembered the name in Spanish.
Thank you for telling 30 Easter eggs
Awesome Easter eggs! I couldn’t even notice them
This set really reminds me of the haunted house in legoland Billund :
2020 is a bad year for everything but Lego, Lego is absolutely rocking it this year!
This was my fav set to build ever
This is insane, we need lego adventurers legacy sets like ninjago but with new outfits and better builds for adventures
I need to buy this
Hey Ashnflash I saw that you changed the Ashnflash extra channel logo!
love the content bro
Nice vid
Thanks
They should make a non golden mr gold. Idk y but I'm interested to see what he would look like.
I’m kinda on the fence about this set. From the exterior it looks so perfect but I really don’t like the fact that it’s a ride instead of a real haunted mansion. Junkbot is a big plus tho lol
I love this set I wish I could get it
Great job on this video! Didn’t think they could put 30 plus Easter eggs in one set!
Thank you :)
Hi
Please do more videos like this
I think that Twins might refers to lego Harry Potter 10217 (And sorry for my english)
I have that set and it’s so 😎 3:32
Wait, is that a JUNKBOT??? In the crate next to the OGEL skull orb.
He says that in the video
The set of the year, period
epic video :D
Tell us the story with Justin and the tower of terror
he already did on his second channel
Thanks for the hard work! How have you been during this crazy time?
He has time now lol
Thank you. I've been good too, thanks! Hope you're doing well too!
7:47 That's what I thought too.
The craziest thing is fact that son's designer put skeleton of Sam Sinister himself!
Seems like this is the house of that old Lego theme guy. The guy with the black hat is him right?
Nightmare before christmas is playing
The ghosts have smiley faces which is a reference to the original lego ghost!!
Okay, it's just my theory but I firmly believe that Hidden side ghosts are caused by Baron's shenanigans.
I don't know how or why, but come on, that would be so cool
Does anyone know a place like Brickmania where they have custom made and printed a junk bot for sale?
Love this video👍
From what i'm getting this is just like the Adventures' memorial
They should remake some old themes with newer bricks
You got a lot of them.... BUT There’s still moooore. AhahahaHAHA
I think the containment with the diamond is a security system for one of rubies from the adventures series
You have a set number? 😕
Set number 7419 has a diamond with that color
Yay
Those grey frog pieces were also used in a Harry Potter set last year as gargoyles.......
I paused the office for this
TC gave the idea of the organ
Did anyone else notice that the TC gravestone was an illegal building technique?
I guess this means it can officially be used.
Junkbot is literally next to the orb and the yeti set in that brown box, you missed it! 3:23 its right htere
Ummmmmm I talk about Junkbot
@@Ashnflash but you didnt really say he was there!!!!
Junk bot vs GNK droid
Who will win!
Did Ash ever see the Bionicle: Legends of Mata Nui reference in the school bus set?
I have the adventures pyramid with the ruby
Honestly, I think this may be the best set of the year! I can't afford it tho :/
As for gargoyles use the mini fig one from the monsters series go figure
1 of the gravestones used an illegal building technique
Well time for a lcu (Lego cinematic universe)
Where to buy it
Is that gravestone an illegal building technique?
How do they have pieces
So I wanna know the lore of this. Does this set mean the Barron is fake in that universe and they made a haunted house about it or is he real in that universe, and if it’s that then is it his estate that became a haunted house or a haunted house based on his legacy? I need to know.

the used an illegal build at 8:48
I love you
You r cool
The razor crest is out, and it’s in the LEGO app.
No it's not it's just pre order
8:55 is that legal?
Hello
Baron von Barron!
Scooby doo had the latest haunted house
Pretty sure that was a castle no?
ogel was a villain in an old theme
Is it just me or are all lego villains a part of the same lineage? If I'm remembering this correctly Ogel, Vladek, Baron Von Baron, and Basil are all blood related, possibly more.
Lego :
Talk about how funny the frog as gargoyle
Me:
