It's a infamous song because of its subject matter but as a long time korn fan from the 90s alot of people I know even at that time never really classed it as one of there best, there are definetly songs above it that are worse though so will admit it's maybe abit too low
I'd go further and say it's a bad song (definitely within the context of their early stuff... they've absolutely done far worse later down the road). I completely get why the guy needed to get that emotion out of him, but I just think the music isn't great, it's painful to listen to (like a lot of theirs) but doesn't really reward the effort (unlike the best of those). Plus I see it requested as a reaction everywhere which makes me kinda sick of it honestly. You're showing them this, when you could be showing them all these others instead?? That sort of thing. I know why people do that, I just don't like it very much.
Well it’s based on least to most played. I love that song and I think it’s one of their best but I’m sure like others it’s not a song I always want to listen to. It’s special so it’s not something you can listen to on repeat like some of their other songs.
Korn is such a double-edged band to me. I can't not love how creative they are, but at times I can't not wince at it either. They definitely go for a "no filter" approach. Sometimes that's wonderful and unlike anything else. Sometimes it makes me think "uh, could've done with a filter".
You can tell how much you like a band when you like every song in the top 50. Despite that, several songs that charted below the top 50 rank among my favorites and are underrated: Need To, Daddy, No Place to Hide, Wicked, Ass Itch, Hollow Life, Counting on Me, Everything I've Know, Oildale (Leave Me Alone), Pop a Pill, Fear Is a Place to Live, Let the Guilt Go, Spike in My Veins, The Darkness is Revealing, Idiosyncrasy, Finally Free, Let The Dark Do The Rest, Hopeless And Beaten, Penance To Sorrow And Worst Is On Its Way. I was positively surprised by Hater, I didn't expect to be so high, and also by the three recent albums (The Serenity of Suffering, The Nothing and Requiem). And I think Korn III was underrated, it deserved more recognition. My top 10 is: 1st: Falling Away from Me 2nd: Make Me Bad 3rd: Can You Hear Me 4th: A.D.I.D.A.S. 5th: Cold 6th: Good God 7th: Right Now 8th: Here to Stay 9th: Oildale (Leave Me Alone) 10th: Let the Guilt Go And my top 5 albums: 1st: The Nothing 2nd: Life Is Peachy 3rd: Requiem 4th: Korn 5th: Korn III: Remember Who You Are Congratulations on the video, you gained a new subscriber. And thanks for taking my suggestions.
Just when I saw your Rammstein video I was going to ask you to do one of Korn and when I'm writing I see the notification of this video, what a coincidence xd
Surprised noones there is so low, love that song, maybe abit dark and slow but johns lyrics and vocal melody is great, also abit surprised how low alot of life is peachy songs are, especially kill you, one of there heaviest songs
I was a very big fan of Korn in HS. I stopped listening to them when Hed and the drummer weren’t in the band anymore. But their first 4 albums are all masterpieces and my favorite album is Issues. I don’t think they ever got back to their peak after Issues imho but they’re true Rick gods.
I can't believe Untitled, a album i grew up with and was probably the first album i listened to, is not listened to a lot (For spotify aspects), Also how Requiem is pushed back, there is so much to this band and the music, Songs from TearJerker all the way Surrender to failure and then songs from Requiem....pain man. It's all wrong is pretty good though from Paradigm, can't forget Intro from Untitled.
Im shocked with songs such kill you, mr rodgers, kill you helmet in the bush, lies, daddy etc are so low 😮 my favourites korn albuns is life is peachy and korn debut by milles
Mr Rogers placement surprised me too. That's the creepiest sounding chorus they've ever done, and it's not like the rest of the song's a slouch either.
Proud's a consistent top 10 for me, but I guess it's understandable that low down what with being a bonus track. Really surprised by how popular "See You on the Other Side" is! Never would've expected that.
Without looking in guessing freak on a leash will be first.... edit: woop guessed correctly! Any chance of smashing pumpkins/ incubus/ black sabbath at any point soon please? :)
While it really comes as no surprise that Freak on a leash is #1, I sure did expect Blind to be top 3. I'd also pick Twisted Transistor over Coming Undone ten times out of ten, but alright. What did surprise me tho is that people keep their dubstep album in such a high regard, to me it is the last album I'd listen to, but apparently I'm in minority here.
I'm surprised Daddy isn't more popular, especially considering how infamous it's backstory is
It's a infamous song because of its subject matter but as a long time korn fan from the 90s alot of people I know even at that time never really classed it as one of there best, there are definetly songs above it that are worse though so will admit it's maybe abit too low
It's a great song, but it's not the kind of song that people put on their playlists
@SaltandPepperFreak It’s on mine but I usually skip it when it plays.

14:32 Korn is the only band capable of making me headbang to nursery rhymes.
Very true😂
yeah lol

Word up being higher than blind is crazy
Right?
Yep, and Blind is x1000 times better haha
Real?? 😭
I'm already calling it, Freak on a Leash is number one.
no shit
should be blind
Korn III, The Paradigm Shift and Untitled are very underrated albums
Korn three is perfectly rated, I agree with the other two though
That's facts.
the paradigm shift is one of my favorite korn albums
The self titled and Life is Peachy are my favorite korn albums.
They should re-record these and have head help rework them
I'm here for it
Crazy how their literal least streamed song has half a million plays
5:11 that really surprised me, one of my favorite KoRn songs.
same!
Sadly the band doesn't really like it much either, because apparently it doesn't translate well at all into a live context
I love that song too 😭
What a surprise "I Will Protect You"
One of their best songs from the Last 15 years
Very agree, Korn going complex and weird in that song.

2nd: Make Me Bad
3rd: Can You Hear Me
4th: A.D.I.D.A.S.
5th: Cold
6th: Good God
7th: Right Now
8th: Here to Stay
9th: Oildale (Leave Me Alone)
10th: Let the Guilt Go
And my top 5 albums:
1st: The Nothing
2nd: Life Is Peachy
3rd: Requiem
4th: Korn
5th: Korn III: Remember Who You Are
Congratulations on the video, you gained a new subscriber. And thanks for taking my suggestions.
Many surprises in both senses. Ones too low and others very high
Korn 3 and path of totality are underrated albums imo. they didnt deserve the amount of backlash they receive
Literally love almost every one of their songs. Except Korn III songs.
I loved so many songs on Korn III. Sad they’re not listened to more.
The album as a whole didn't grow on me much but I do think Oildale and Parade are absolute monsters.
Innocent Bystander is a criminally underrated Korn song omg!
Agreed!
Also Mr. Rogers!
Killing is waaay too unappreciated. Such a great song.
helmet in the Bush is so underrated
It's a nice break-up to the flow of the album, and that ending is nuts. One of the better tracks on one of the best albums.
Faxs
ONGG
yes! finally my fav korn :D
Just when I saw your Rammstein video I was going to ask you to do one of Korn and when I'm writing I see the notification of this video, what a coincidence xd
untitled is really underrated imo, it's my third fav album among all of em

Sorry, horrendously late. But I think untouchables is a really good album. After that they had their downfall
Even KoRn's less played songs are still really good! I enjoy good ALBUMS and KoRn delivers on good albums!
Amo desde el primer album hasta el ultimo de esta banda, de mis favoritas en mi opinion. ♡♡♡
Thanks dude :)
Never realised kill you wasn’t that popular
untitled is so underrated man
Throw me away is probably my favorite Korn song ever🤘
Real
Fun fact: the creator of spawn and venom drew the album cover for follow the leader
Crazy how Jonathan’s voice still sounds the same as it did 30 years ago
i can def hear a difference, but i may be imagining things
Kick the P.A. is HIGHLY underrated.
5:46 i‘m responsibe for all the 3588425 plays
Starting over my favorite, so underrated 😞
10:46 That's one of my favourite Korn songs 😢
I remember when hold on was in a car commercial during the super bowl lol
There are some really amazing ones super low here I think everyone should listen to holding all these lies
My favorite band of all time. 🐐
There are bangers before the middle people please listen to all the songs🙏
FINALLY
In my opinion, my top 3 are Got the Life, Here to stay, and Freak on a Leash
I would love it if you did one for Death.
Im shocked with songs such kill you, mr rodgers, kill you helmet in the bush, lies, daddy etc are so low 😮 my favourites korn albuns is life is peachy and korn debut by milles
Mr Rogers placement surprised me too. That's the creepiest sounding chorus they've ever done, and it's not like the rest of the song's a slouch either.
korn has great songs
"Starting Over" deserves more love 😢
I LOVE WORD UP SO MUCHH!!
OMG Kick the P.A. is the third least played song out of all them!? It’s one of my faves!
I didnt even have to watch the vid to know Freak on a leash is first but im shocked on how a certain few ended up in different positions.
here it comes again feels like it should be WAY higher up, i thought that this song was known
The fact that All in the Family has 25 MILLION plays
THE PAST AT 178 IS A HUGE CRIME
Cause love without affection is hate without the pain😔
Love song is a masterpiece! Love song>>>Got the life
I believe Pradictable or Alive was the first song KoRn made together.
Alive's awesome. I know it was different before the album version, but I still love how it ended up.
#158 "penance to sorrow" very underrated song 😔🤙🏿
Proud's a consistent top 10 for me, but I guess it's understandable that low down what with being a bonus track.
Really surprised by how popular "See You on the Other Side" is! Never would've expected that.
Do a 2023 system of a down one!
Fuels the comedy is such a bop😞
It was the last band I've listened to, nice
Kill you is so low? That’s really surprising if I’m being honest because it’s arguably one of their best songs.
Let’s be honest, ain’t it like that for all metal bands? Most of their best songs are usually some of the least recognised ones.
@@fiction5741 I completely agree
Please make an Anthrax and a Slayer list! I would also love to see thrash metal bands that are out of the Big 4.
only have Anthrax left to go :p
th-cam.com/video/TB_NJjc3pkA/w-d-xo.html
done with anthrax too now th-cam.com/video/K7dUjxajm30/w-d-xo.html
im not super surprised that so much of life is peachy is so low but im sure i was a lot of those streams last year lol
Great job. Dirty should be in top 20. Did I miss 'Did my Time' ? That one is Top 10.
Did My Time is #17 with 36,871,739 streams :p
@@imakevideosonyoutube Ahh thank you!. Missed that one. Great work 👏🏻

ASS ITCH IS MY 1# FAVORITE HOW IS IT ONLY NUMBER 128?
The Ramones
It's all wrong is so good though😭
Bbk is so underrated
FRRRR
Biffy Clyro and Enter Shikari 🤘
Really sad to see some of the Take A Look In The Mirror and Untouchables songs so low on the list
Those list makes me want to listen to all their songs chronically again like I did some years ago. They have so few bad songs
Korn is the best nu metal band of all time
I'd argue System Of A Down is slightly better but korn is defo up there
I couldnt find calling me too soon or baby on Spotify. How’d you find those??
i think theyre not available worldwide, but heres a link to them: open.spotify.com/album/4RjHOlFpX2rHqsViJa0fSn
