Swedish National Anthem is just so beautiful. To me, it shows that one can love his nation just like how a man loves his wife, with his whole heart, willing to protect her at all cost. I love this song, as well as VOLVO's way of using it in this ad. It's just beautiful.
Great vid. While most national anthems speak of war, being better then others, etc. Sweden's speaks of its quietness, forests, mountains, & love of country, & that is in essence the most Swedish of all!

I have watched this video over 100 times not kidding. The secenery, the music, that buck in the woods with that piano in the background. Good god I think i'll watch it a 100 times more. The problem I have with athletes modeling cars these days is that deep down we all hate how pampered these athletes are. We don't really identify with them. But Ibrah man.. what does he do? He jumps in a freezing cold lake.. shows is competitive spirit not only for soccer but for his country. He's been blasted for not singing the national anthem and what a better way to show his deep dedication to a fantastic part of our world. All you hacks that beg to differ you're just hacks. Move on! This dude is a fiery competitor. He's showing his love for nature, his kids, soccer, and Volvo just wanted to be a part of that for two minutes. Well done Ibrah and Volvo. Impressive stuff.

I love the fact that you placed the XC70 at the same level with your wilderness, your snow, forests, ice, sun and homes. This, is a masterpiece of a video. I'm Swedish and still agree with what u say. Nationality is just a fold where people put other people in. I think it's a bad habit and hope that people come to their senses and change the bad habits. I don't want to be known to be a Swede, or that Swedish dude. I want to be known for how I behave and how I treat other people and I hope that other people get that treatment too.
But people who makes ads know what sells and does not care about it strengthening nationalism (or patriotism, whatever you'd like to call it).
