Spreading Kindness by getting gas in someones car

- This man was holding a sign and a gas can asking for gas on the corner. I was going to fill up the gas can for him when I thought it would be better to use the $10 in my pocket and put it in his car.
He went on to tell me how he was living on the street with a shopping cart and then saved up enough to get a car. His girlfriend was run over by a car earlier this year in a hit and run and had multiple bones broken. She is still recovering, and in a lot of pain, so he has to take care of her. His SSI is not enough to get a place to live here in Reno NV, so he lives in the car with her and their 2 dogs.

I watch the videos where TH-camrs give away $1000 in cash or expensive gifts. I like this better and it’s nice to see something local. The guy gets less than $800 so I can’t imagine he could find any place to live in Reno. Anyway, thanks for your efforts.
It's wild how reno has changed. 18 yrs ago I had a one bedroom house off of Virginia Street for $500 a month. Most these people were able to afford to live back then
It’s insane how much it has changed, I moved away about 9 years ago and I had a huge house in Carson for 1000 a month now the prices are like Seattle prices.

Yes, and it’s nice that Knate does not do a “morality test” before “blessing” someone who doesn’t need it. His approach is straight from the heart and he gives things that the people really need. Spencer form SB mowing is another kind heart that does hours and hours of work to help people out

Knate I just retired on SS in July. My budget is very tight but I always try to reach out and help others. Monetarily at least once a month, and also giving practical help (or items) to those in need. I saw an ad from our local mission that someone got a job and asked if anyone had a bicycle they could have to ride to work. We pulled one of our bikes out of our barn, put new tires and brakes on it. Bought them a bike lock and delivered it to them at the mission. It was February, but this lady was determined to keep that job. It warmed our hearts to help her. ❤️

My name is Joe im a 2 year Lymphoma patient and I live with my brother and two in a tent in Ohio and have been for a year and a half. I always see stuff like this and wonder what its like to be fortunate enough for some sort of blessing. and I appreciate what you do for people.

New subscriber. I think I know Cameron. His truck was having some problems and I got him the right sized socket (something like that, I don't know a thing about tools) and he gave me some information I needed. He's a very nice man. I meant to see if he got his truck going. At the time his partner was in a nursing home, I pray she's okay. She was due to be released soon. This was the second week of August I think.
I'm glad someone is out there watching out for these folks! From my experience they are all very kind and helpful, society is missing out when they label them and stuck them in a box (quite literally)
Wanted to add that his wife was in nursing home just to get iv antibiotics, which she couldn't do safely on the street.
So...if they are "these folks", you are "those folks"? I'm guessing you're around 50?
@@janejones5362 I had a stroke during the pandemic, on the left side of my brain (right side affected) and have worked hard on recovering my ability to type and write correctly...
Thankfully there aren't many ppl who pick apart every little thing and get all judgy of strangers or it would be very discouraging.

It's in the giving that he blesses them and is blessed in turn. He does give cash to some. He knows who it will help and help it does. For some, it completely turns life around for them. He doesn't have to decide what they do with it. Everything is intent. When we do our life review, it's all about intent.
You might not have thought about it but homeless folks need insurance policies paid for on their cars + tags+ stickers + inspection compliance items like that

i do wonder about trash insofar as we are all ok buying and using plastic and burying it under the earth in one spot, but just not evenly spread across the topmost layer of the earth especially where we like to walk and look at. odd, right? perfect example of out of sight, out of mind. its not like putting it into a trash can turns it into flowers and rainbows.

I wish I could be helpful and help someone else but I need someone to help me to help someone else and pass it along so we can hopefully 🤞 come together and build lives up instead of tearing them down. I got lots of ideas to help others I want help but I'm scared to ask and my partial new formed belief is saying sometimes to me be cautious cuz everything comes with a price in a temporary unguaranteed life.
