Learning keeps all of us young in heart and mind. As you know, when we know it all, we are not teachable! Crochet is getting more creative the last 20 years or so. I am just now getting more interested again. God Bless you Yvonne for listening to others!
God love you! Hope you had a fun and successful time with that pattern. I used it to make my grandsons blanket (almost 3 years ago...😕where does all that time really go...!???! Now I’m using it to make dish rags.
One of my bus drivers (on my way to work back in 2004 or so) gave me this pattern and I love it! It made a lovely baby blanket when I used white on one side and a variegated yarn (pink, blue, white) on the reverse. I've made pieces this way using other yarns and colours, too. I'm so glad you're sharing this here. Your tutorials are clear and easy to understand. I think you are a born teacher! My Mum would have loved your channel. She and her six sisters learned to knit, crochet, hand-stitch and embroider before they began school, as their parents were Norwegian and that was traditional back then. Mum taught me to hand-stitch beginning when I was two and taught me to knit, crochet and embroider when I was nine. I'm past 76 now and still loving handwork. So do keep learning and creating (and teaching).
Awesome! First and foremost, I am really impressed with finding such a beautiful and young lady interested in the arts and not only that, doing tutorials and sharing with the world your knowledge. Thank you! Awesome!!
I've tried to follow written instructions for this and I've been so stumped! Your instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I'm going to give this a try very soon! Thank you!
All the years I've been crocheting (started at the age of 7 and about to turn 51 I'll let you do the math LOL) I've never tried this. Your tutorial has inspired me. Just a little tip though if I may, for those who are not big on knots like me, you could hold the new end/straggler next to the work and just crochet over it so it is hidden and secured as you go and won't have to worry about weaving in those dreaded ends. Also, when crocheting into the beginning chain,I have found that if you crochet into the bump on the back, it leaves a nice, finished edge. Again, thanks for this awesome tutorial :) happy hooking!
It is exciting to see such a young person continue the craft and art that is crochet! Thank you for your enjoyment of crochet and your willingness to teach to other generations.
i started crochet when I was in 8th grade and I am inspired by my mother. and please i request to all of you don't underestimate the new TH-camrs thank you
I've crochet this blanket many times and after a few years went to do it again but could'nt remember it and found your Chanel and was able to do it again and now a few years later I'm back again for a quick reminder thank you ☘
I made a scarf out of this pattern and I love it!!! I get lots of compliments on it when I wear it. It looks like hearts, especially since I used a bright pink on one side and black on the other. I will definitely be using this pattern again!!! Thanks for making this video!!!!!
Oh hun thank you for replying I figured it out. I'm in the process of a blanket now for my daughter I love the pattern. you were showing it just fine. thank you.
I haven't been able to figure out the written pattern and have watched a couple other tutorials for this stitch. They left out sections making it impossible to follow. Your tutorial is very clear and easy to follow. Thank you for doing this tutorial so well!
I love this pattern/stitch. I'm currently making a bright blue and butter yellow baby blanket and it's coming out beautifully. Thank you so much for doing this tutorial. You make it very simple to do.
Hi, I was wondering how many chains did you make for your baby blanket? I don't want to make it very big so I will appreciate your feed back. Thanks a million!!
Lovely pattern and I liked your instructions and found them very easy.. I was making a scarf but unfortunately the yarn was chunky so it turned out to be very thick. So just for everyone this will be a thick pattern so either use it for blanket or a throw or use a thinner yarn for other projects. but it is really a nice pattern
You are so young and yet so amazing at crocheting, that is so wonderful. You make beautiful peices, thankyou so much for teaching us. Keep up the phenomenal work!
Ooo yeah im a little color blind unfortunately, and I was like OOOOO YEAH my 2 favorite colors together... Turquoise and Black... ahhh ooo well, Black and White, Black and Yellow, Black and Neon green, and Black and Turquoise will always rock ANY crochet items, and set each other off !!! Lol
Thanks for the video and the pattern. Sometimes, the patterns helps me alot more then charts. Because some people don't put down what the little symbols means when they make those charts next to the chart made.
Thanks. I wish more knitting and crochet people did what you did. Place a written pattern of the lesson on so people can go by that and the video. Makes it easier.
I am very very new to crocheting and your instructions are great. I just wish you would slow down and maybe show what it is suppose to look like as you finish a row. I was real confused and had to keep going back to try to see where you were going through. Thanks
I absolutely love this, but it would be much easier to learn and follow if you slowed down some for those of us that are new to crocheting. I can't wait to try it. 🙂
I absolutely LOVE this pattern but I am lost. Is there a video that shows the complete pattern I can watch? I am a visual processor and at 75 years old find it very hard to read this pattern.
wow, thank you so much, you are really good at that, and explaining, i liked your video a lot, thanks again and keep making good videos like this one :)
I love your work and just giving constructive criticism. Much love! Youaren't suppose to knot it knots eventually come undone and if you ever want to fix something (I used to knot my work too) you wouldn't be able to easily do it or have to completely do it over. I suggest instead of knotting it just weave it in right away. FYI I really love to pattern and your choice of colors, you put up a wonderful tutorial. :).
Loved this tutorial, however it would be helpful if you would show us maybe 2 more rows, also how what to do when we get to the ends. The blue made it very difficult to see where you are putting your hook. I love this pattern and hope you will update this so I may complete. I am also a lefty which is making it difficult also. Thanks
Your tutorial is great, right up until you stop instructing. The place that I was having a problem (and from reading through the instructions, where almost everyone is having a problem,) is that when you turn over to do the next set of loops, it isn't quite so obvious where to put the sc. For anyone who's still wondering (I know this is an old post) you turn the work around (don't flip it over, though) and you're going to sort of flip down the 2nd color (in the tutorial it's the navy blue) and work almost on top of it, if that makes sense.
Okay, shame on me, but I have been busy, I have finally tried this pattern. I was doing well and it looked good UNTIL 9:56 "and now we are going to do the exact same thing"???? Do I start with the A color and do a loop row? If I do where do I put my sc into? Can someone please help me?
Taught myself to crochet at 21. Now I am 70 and still love learning new ways. Thank u❤️💖
Thank you, I loved this video. I can't wait to try it. I'm 71-years-old and you just taught me something. God Bless you ♥

I've been looking for a good reversible crochet pattern and this is perfect. Blanket and scarfs here I come.
Yayy! The blankets and scarves will look great!
I've tried to follow written instructions for this and I've been so stumped! Your instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I'm going to give this a try very soon! Thank you!
I was just thinking that I would rather have written instructions with pictures. It's funny how each person has their own learning style.
All the years I've been crocheting (started at the age of 7 and about to turn 51 I'll let you do the math LOL) I've never tried this. Your tutorial has inspired me. It is exciting to see such a young person continue the craft and art that is crochet! Thank you for your enjoyment of crochet and your willingness to teach to other generations.
Loved this - this was a new one for me. Hope to see more...
A very clear demonstration of this pattern and it works up very easily and quickly using this technique.
i started crochet when I was in 8th grade and I am inspired by my mother. and please i request to all of you don't underestimate the new TH-camrs thank you

I did it!!! Took a bit practice but I got it. Once you got it it's actually easy
Oh hun thank you for replying I figured it out. I'm in the process of a blanket now for my daughter I love the pattern. you were showing it just fine. thank you.
Your videos are very easy to follow. Thank you
Thanks so much for the video it was easy for me to follow not too slow. I love how you also have the written pattern.
Thank you so much! I could never quite figure out how to start this pattern. Your video is so very helpful!
going to make this soon as I am done with my star blanket love this pattern
I haven't been able to figure out the written pattern and have watched a couple other tutorials for this stitch. They left out sections making it impossible to follow. Your tutorial is very clear and easy to follow. Thank you for doing this tutorial so well!
I really like that. I am going to make a scarf using that for my niece. In blue with sparkles & black. It seems it would work up fast.
THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM DOING THAT WHEN I LEARN THOSE OTHER STITCHES, BESIDES THE SINGLE CROCHET, I KNOW THAT ONE.
This is excellent and you are a very good teacher. I look forward to more of your lessons, thank you.
Such a fun pattern! Great tute and I also tie a knot....so does Bella Coco.
It's been a long time since you did this tutorial, it seems simple, but difficult at the same time. Thanks for making this. 😊

On the video click on the 3 dots than go to playback speed and you can slow down the video
TOTALLY LOVE!!!
I absolutely love this, but it would be much easier to learn and follow if you slowed down some for those of us that are new to crocheting. I can't wait to try it. 🙂
Slow the play back down. That's what I do when it goes to fast for me. 😊
@@amyladwig2284 Thank you Amy! I honestly had no idea how to do that until now. Oops! 😊 Lol
good work keep going ....
I absolutely LOVE this pattern but I am lost. Is there a video that shows the complete pattern I can watch? I am a visual processor and at 75 years old find it very hard to read this pattern.
I wish you could have a couple of more rolls just so people / i could get the hang of it because I love the pattern thanks for the video
wow, thank you so much, you are really good at that, and explaining, i liked your video a lot, thanks again and keep making good videos like this one :)

I love this video, it would be great if someone could do a left handed version. Lovely work!
We miss you girl ❤️
nicely done :)
My Nonna used to make this pattern!
Could you please tell me what size hook and yarn information.
Cheers and big Thanks.
Love your tutorial. Xxx

Groovy😃
The crocheter in me says says, awesome pattern, thanks! The male in me says, hey, you're cute! ;p
manyyyyy thanx 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Okay, shame on me, but I have been busy, I have finally tried this pattern. I was doing well and it looked good UNTIL 9:56 "and now we are going to do the exact same thing"???? Do I start with the A color and do a loop row? If I do where do I put my sc into? Can someone please help me?
Could I please ask on what your suggestion is on how many to chain for an afghan?
