Good vibes man.
Appreciate that
I love techno music so much is my favorite genre of music ever and Jeff Mills is my favorite artist ever in music. His music is so cosmically beautiful futuristic funky and soulful and it hits you in your soul.
Which should always and forever be the objective right? Thanks for your comment!
@@AnalogKitchen you welcome
Well, stay tuned for more!
Friggin love this- inspiring me to go back to music production
And did it work out for ya? Did you make some music?
Yes! When I wrote this I was in a six month phase where I was trying to paint, but was hitting a growth hurdle. I pinned your comment to my desk and now I’m back in music jam land- been having a blast all week. 🙏
That is amazing man. What strikes me the most is your choice of notes, it doesn't look like you're sticking to the regular D minor despite having that bass note of D. I'm definitely going to try add off key notes in next time. Also the way you space out and alternate between the elements is top notch.
Thanks Erin! Glad you like it!
me personally I prefer this madness than the cheesiness of the melodic techno. But that s just me. Beautiful
I just love to be versatile!
Great tips thanks! 🔥🔥Do you have a video about making interesting transitions or breaks on the octatrack, step by step?
Not yet. But that’s a good idea actually
Even you moving back and forth during your explanation is hypnotizing 🤣🤣🤣
Look deep into my eyesssss..... 🙌
Really great vibes ❤ Love that deep house vibe!
Thanks 🔥
Thanks for these sessions you do, brother. I work 100% in the box but watching you create dawless helps a ton. Much respect and appreciation.
Thanks Moses! Stay tuned for more
I am not really a fan of techno, or most dance related music...but I love what you do and get a lot from your vids! Great stuff sir :)
Awesome! Thank you! Glad you like it. I guess there's something for everyone in here... At least I hope so!
Oh that sounds good with that techno chord

Hi from N.I
Hello there!!
Got so excited when I saw the 101 last week, didn't dissapoint, such a great sounding machine 😃😃😃
Same here! It always surprises me how well it works!
sorry i missed the start. sounds great, everythig in it's place.
Just hit rewind! X
I like the "letterbak" analogy, my mum ran one also.
It turned out that it translates into ‘letter box’ so I wasn’t far off. Great to hear your mum ran one too. I guess it’s a 70s thing or maybe 80s even
20:28 this is the highlight for me 😋 if you can hum it, you can drum/strum it lol
AK Hummingbird! Hahaha
Hey AK! I have a question. I've been pivoting my setup to integrate an iPad (track 1) and an MC404 (track 2) through a DJ mixer with Novation Circuit Tracks through which I run a Korg Monologue and a Volca Bass (track 3), as well as a Volca Kick which I use for basslines. Regarding the iPad, I have been manually syncronizing it to the Midi circuit (5 pins via a Midi Thru box) by which the others are connected. However, if I wanted to use some Ableton Link-enabled apps which are synchronized to each other in the iPad (I use them to launch samples and even tracks), and wanted to have them synched by the MIDI master (the 404), what gear would I need? I read about the app AUM which seems promising although I don't know how to use it, but as far as hardware? I was watching a Loopop video about usb midi hosts. Is that what I would need? What would you suggest? I don't want to spend a lot of money is the thing. If that's the case I would stick with manually synching (I spend a couple months a few years back learning how to use a guitar looper pedal. It's just muscle memory, like beatmatching for the old-school vinyl heads). Any suggestions would be most greatly appreciated!! Loving your work as always, Sean
If you have an iPad, AUM is the way to go. I use AUM now as my main MIDI clock and audio mixer with an external USB audio/MIDI card.
OOOhhh, that' one I'm not sure about as I'm not doing anything with iPAds or laptops... I'd suggest you check the community at my Discord page. There are a lot of people there that could help you out!
@@AnalogKitchen nice one thanks for your reply anyway!!
@@SHLDMusic Thanks so much! Yeah seems like it, I've been checking out some tutorials - if you know of any Analog Kitchen- style straight-to-the-point 'tubers that would be hugely appreciated... Do you know if iPads can receive Midi clock start/stop instructions? I use a TR8 for my master and I would like to keep it that way, I'm a little wary of giving that task to a little computer, basically. And I like the TR8's big tempo knob. If the iPad can't receive MIDI clock I think I'll either just keep manual synching, like I always have done with one instrument or another - it's basically beatmatching and took me about a month to get the hang of learning with a guitar looper pedal originally. It can be risky if you adjust BPMs and forget to adjust the two looping circuits together but with practice it can be achieved, and it's a whole lot simpler conceptually. If you change bpm and forget to adjust any of the non-midi linked components it's a total train wreck tho, hehe, so there is that. Thanks again!!
@@ketama047 Yes AUM can receive external Midi clock
Repetition legitimizes the hypnotic state. It gives permission to go there.
And stay there. In the loop! The best way to be!
Regarding the language... entrancement, or becoming entrained within the loop, is perhaps more descriptive. It's like a train track running in circles, then we can start playing with ideas.
Well spoken!
Good evening, Champs! 🥳
Hello there! Hoe gaat ie?
Goed.. Even verder kijken 😅
