Overly expensive ; I used to have a little Peugeot in France (206+ hdi 1.4 diesel) ; it didn't cost me more than 1000 EUR per year in maintenance, insurance and fuel.
I Mean he's right, even if yours is an Audi S3 in gasoline that's style an old model. To be honest the consumption look incredible to pay 4800€ for 25,000km. What is the consumption on your 8L ? 12l/100km ? @@turbosandtalks
This is about the same i spend on average on my remapped seat leon FR 1p 2.0 tfsi. Only difference is i only drive about 8000km max per year which makes it doable. I live in the Netherlands so fuel costs the same. Funny thing is i owned a 1.8t Skoda Octavia before this which i swapped myself to a APX engine (older version of the BAM, also k04 turbo etc) from a wrecked audi tt. It even had a 5 speed gearbox (the FR has a 6 speed) . It had a much better gas mileage than the tfsi engine although its an older engine (both running around 260 bhp) and the octavia had the drag coefficient of a brick 😂.... Maybe its full of carbon due to the direct injection. Honestly i think the 1.8t is superior to the 2.0 tfsi, keep good care of it because these will most likely go up in value (the S3)
This makes me rethink buying mk6 gti and giulietta qv
Well, if you want an economy car, don’t buy a hot hatch.

Not in the same league...

@@Trolype10L / 100 km. Which isn’t too bad for a remapped 250 hp gasoline engine. Fuel is just bloody expensive.
