We’ve sailed on her before in the Neptune Suites and truly enjoyed it. If one can do it, it’s a great experience of a huge room and great service. Hope to sail again on the Eurodam. Thanks for sharing

Prefer HAL Pinnacle class cabinets then vista class. Wanted to try Princess cruises, give up upon shower unmovable.

It’s unfortunate you have no privacy on your balcony, the ships are lovely to sail on with HAL. I’ve not been on Eurodam, not sure I’d like the non private balcony. Love The pinnacle class HAL ships: Koningsdam, Statendam and Rotterdam. Cheers!

Unfortunately, not much privacy on that balcony. You will get to know your neighbors very well😂

LOL, that is true. After all isn't that part of the fun of cruising, to get to know other people?

I sailed on Eurodam Nov. ‘22. Had an AFT balcony on 8 floor. LARGEST balcony to date w my sails. (Have never stayed in Suites). Your room layout is interesting. Sofa is usually next to glass door. I didn’t know the shelves in closets were able to be arranged! Loved the little reading lights by bed - used this a lot! I like a sliding glass vs the handle/opening HAL uses, but I guess they do that to discourage keeping the balcony open all the time to room.

@@bones1492 I am in the process of booking an Alaskan cruise for later next year and I was considering the 8th deck but closer to the front of the ship. Any input or suggestions?

@@anns1921Sorry! Just saw this ! No real input. Look at the deck plans of the ship above and below you to be sure no loud dancing or tables being slid across floors. As long as you don’t experience motion sickness (I don’t) any place on ship is fine. Less movement felt midship. Funny, I’m in Alaska now driving motor coaches for HAL/Princess !

@@anns1921also, I know rates get cheaper as season comes to end, but the weather has been mostly crummy in August ! You DO kinda get what you pay for !
