Great video
Thank you for watching 👍🏻
Dang bro I ordered one just to have as a baby demo hammer so I can beat the crap out of things in really narrow and small areas thanks for sharing . I have the Martinez m1 and m4 and stiletto great hammers, boss hammer is really good too.
Yea give it a shot. It’s been great so far.
@@thingsmen thank u
Nice , it it had a waffle face and a side puller I’d be all over it
I get that. At least the side puller for sure. 👍🏻
Looks great especially at 11oz
Should try one for yourself. 👍🏻
By any chance does anyone know the length of this hammer?
16 1/8”
@@thingsmen oh awesome thank you
curious if anyone actually finds those nail starter gimmicks on hammers to be useful. Personally, I'd rather place the nail exactly where I want it, then tap to get it started before a couple of bigger swings to drive it. I haven't swung a hammer for a paycheck in over 30 years so now I just use a hammer for odd jobs.
Yea would be curious what framers prefer using. However the titanium weight and feel is a bonus for sure. 👍🏻
I seen people us them but for me I don't like them
why it doesn't look titanium
I get that but it appears to be so. 👍🏻
@@thingsmen the gloss finish is a tad much
Looks like a Milwaukee Hammer
Ok. However Milwaukee doesn’t make a titanium hammer. 🔨
@@thingsmenthey own stiletto so Milwaukee kinda does have one. But Martinez is way better.
Chinese hand tool companies apply a varnish-like coating, like the hammer you bought, to prevent the hand tools from rusting. A tool made of real titanium will not rust, even if it is not coated. Also, titanium is a very expensive type of metal. Considering the price you purchased it for and the anti-rust coating on the hammer, I honestly don't think your hammer is made of real titanium.
To test whether your hammer is made of titanium, soak the coating peeled surface in salt water for 1 day. If rust has formed, it is not titanium.
Fair point although I know titanium is a major component it however may also have other trace elements that could degrade performance . I may see if I can get it to oxidize. Thanks for the comment. 👍🏻
@@thingsmen Corrosion occurs if exposed to high amounts of chemicals such as chlorine. Corrosion does not occur from contact with air. It is used in the body manufacturing of passenger and military aircraft due to its lightness, strength and resistance to corrosion.
You should read news of The New York Times "F.A.A Investigating How Questionable Titanium Got Into Boeing and Airbus Jets". The Chinese company sells fake titanium to Boeing and Airbus companies. Corrosion occurred in parts thought to be titanium in the aircraft produced.
@@hakan65256 thanks for the reply. I may try to test it out and see if oxidation occurs in several environments. 👍🏻
