I laughed when I saw you forgot the cranberries and had to add it in. My oldest daughter learned to cook at a very young age and one time she wanted homemade chicken pot pie. I was at work so I told her basically what to do. She boiled the chicken and put it in the frig to cool so she could debone it. She then went on to make the rest of the pot pie up. When they were eating it for supper my husband said "I thought you said this was chicken pot pie" she said "it is" he then said "where's the chicken" She stopped and looked then remembered she forgot to go back and get the chicken out of frig. She was upset she forgot but we all just shrugged it off and ate veggie pot pie. It was actually really good. One of the things I love most about your videos is you are not afraid to show -if you forget something or make a mistake. Those types of things are just life. Being real and showing all the real life stuff is refreshing and enjoyable to watch. Great video.
What a story to remember haha! I love that! I can see how she left it out, must’ve been some good veggie pie too though! That’s too funny 😆 We appreciate your kind words about us showing our faults, we do like to show them because we’re not perfect in anyway and love to show real life. It’s relatable and hope it creates a personable experience 🫂
In making the scones, I am simply amazed that your very young sous chef stayed focused throughout the process! Super job Isaiah. Thanks for the tip about soaking the dried fruit before baking! ❤❤❤
Hello friend! Yes he sure did stay focused! He concentrates very well when he does something he likes, unless it's his school and that's another story haha!
I think Mercy and Isaiah will have their own bakery shop one day! I can't wait to try the coffee cake. OMG - they all look delicious to me! Thank you so much.
Hello Susan! That would be so great to have them run a bakery, means less cooking for me ha! That coffee cake was a winner, it's super fluffy and flavorful.
You guys are fun. Isn’t baking so zen? Last week my sister was here for a few days so I made some oatmeal banana muffins and a carrot loaf with lovely fall spices. She was delighted lol. Most of my recipes come from really old cook books, pre 1970 and some from the 30s. I’m not a vegan, but I love the cuisine and I could watch you guys cook forever. I might just have to make that coffee cake. Love you, Rosa ❤
Hello Mary! Yes baking is seriously very enjoyable to me and it’s so quick and easy, unless it’s something more complicated of course. That oatmeal banana muffins and carrot loaf sounds so good I need some too! I’ve noticed not everyone here are vegan but that’s ok! Just some inspiration if anyone wants to try any plant based recipes 😄 We love you too Mary!!!! 🫂
I buy cranberries during the fall when they are on sale. I store them in the freezer until I get time to dehydrate them. They work great in recipes without any added sugar. They all look delicious 😋
I haven’t made a coffee cake in a very long time so looking forward to making that. Lovely video as always family such a heartwarming family together in the kitchen and I’m sure it smelled soooooo good
Love this time of year for baking when it cools off in the north east and the oven warms up the house and everything smells so wonderful! It’s the best. I have a silicone baked doughnut pan, and I happily discovered that you can put any kind of cake or muffin mix in there. One of my favorites is banana bread donuts. What does the hibiscus tea taste like? It actually looks quite delicious to me.
Yes exactly! Any kind of cake mix works in these pans that’s why we love them so much! WOW I’m going to try banana bread doughnuts next! Hibiscus tastes sour and tart but it has a gentle sweet note to it
@@thehaipath The question is: What do I NOT like to bake, haha. I have about 45 Vegan Cookbooks, (20 of them baking.) Anything vegan and yummy- especially during the holidays. :)
Hello! Ooh yes nuts would’ve been perfect as the crumble topping! I’ve never worked with xantham gum before! Coconut oil is not for everyone but great in baked goods for sure! Do you not like the flavor?

Hello Jacqui, what a great idea! We need to invest in a dehydrator. We have one that's smaller, I should put that thing to work!
Hi Rosa ....That would be a tough decision. Everything looked delicious ❤❤❤
Hello Marianne! Haha! Well I suppose you need to try them all and let us know which one you liked best!
I haven’t made a coffee cake in a very long time so looking forward to making that. Lovely video as always family such a heartwarming family together in the kitchen and I’m sure it smelled soooooo good
Please make it and let us know what you think! The coffee cake was a winner!
Loved the coffee cake...I'll try that one!
Hope you like it! That coffee cake is fool proof, it's so easy and came out so good!
Those scones look delicious!
Thank you they were very yummy, please try them!
Love the coconut milk icing idea! We don’t use powdered sugar either. This is a great find!
You can also try coconut cream for a thicker consistency or coconut butter too!

Yes! That coffee cake is a winner!
Saved video for sure because I like to cook but love to bake.
Hello Edyann! Nice! Hope you love these recipes, they all turned out great. What do you like to bake?

❤❤hi Rosa and family❤❤
Hello Amy my friend! 🥰
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hello Jonica! 🥰
so far behind ur videos but looking forward to catch up
There’s plenty of time and plenty to watch!!
Xantam gum will also work. Walnuts will be good with the crumble. Not a fan of coconut oil

You probably could have just poured it all in then scoped out the middle with the donuts
That could actually have worked perfectly also, didn’t think of that 🤔
Coffee cake😊
