I remember the chrome arms and legs of the G1 toy, so I definitely prefer the silver of the first release of this toy. Never felt much attachment to the Hoist toy, but the cartoon gave him a lot of personality so the toon version Hoist hits the nostalgia bone for me, well
Finally someone made a video with the toon reissue of trailbreaker and hoist.
I wonder if Takara will ever make their mp versions of these guys.

I'm still hoping FTs puts theirs out. I do have MMC's Hoist though, which I am fairly happy with.

Nice review. Nothing negative to day about the fig, but your lights are coming in across very hot, especially with the white background.

I have the yellow version and the stickers. Are impossible to take off the paper to put on.
I really enjoyed the way you transformed it, I always have a hard time locking the backpack in. Next time I'll do it watching this video :)

This looks great, but I know Takara can do better with both looks and transformation. I'm surprised they haven't done him yet. I can't imagine it being very hard to get a mold licensed by Toyota
Lol present day and Takaras version coming out looks like garbage stick to XTB or better yet Fanstoys…
@@PSYCHOWORLD I respect your opinion but no lmao. I guarantee the transformation for the Takara Trailbreaker is more enjoyable and the articulation is already far superior.

Thanks for the video! I was waiting for FansToys but kinda prefer the look to the Xtransbots version. I can’t wait to see the FansToys vs Xtransbots comparison. You now have me worried about the paint chipping. 😂

I would have waited for fans toys if i wasn't doing reviews, they generally hit my preferences closer, but this is still a great bot overall
The only downside for this figure is its forearm's single joint, good review
