Minnesota mom here. I have a son in high school, and I'd like to report there are no litter boxes, or tampons for that matter, in the boys' bathroom.
My mom was told by a couple of retired teachers in Arizona all about the kitty litter thing. I had to show her how it was spread and where it started. She believed them until then. It is unfortunate that disinformation can be spread so easily by social media.
I regularly advise these folks. Get in your car tomorrow morning and drive to the closest school. Ask them to show you the open boxes of free tampons in the Boys bathrooms. None? Back in your car and go to the next school. Set aside 3 months for this. There are thousands of schools. Give up looking when you literally have no more money in your account for gas or food or a bus ticket home.

If a classroom has a private closet that could be used as a restroom, a few teachers placed a bag of kitty litter in the closet in the event of a school shooting lockdown. Many older schools that only had two gymnasium locker rooms, 1 boys and 1 girls, had feminine product dispensers placed in the boys locker room for when 2 opposing girls teams were playing a game in the gym.
I once had a bloody nose, and a tampon would have saved the bathroom from looking like a crime scene. I guess that’s not exactly what some people imagine tampons being used for in men’s bathrooms.
They all have no idea that Trump and his family are disgusted by them but desperately need their money and support.

DonOld probably felt threatened by his skill and ability. I bet that affected jobs he could get if any company saw that show. They had to scramble to put the contestant in a bad light to justify Trump firing him.
I'm overwhelmed. I do not understand. I've stopped trying to figure it out. So many people are simply lost at this time. It is so painful to listen to these people. We have to move forward- then perhaps these people can focus on their real life.

I just want to say that the interviewer nodding is actually top class interviewing. It makes the person vent ideas they wouldn't if they were staying still or questioning the answer. Makes for a very unfiltered thought process and shows what the interviewee is thinking. Not usually something the right wants to do because they like steering the direction of the interview. I haven't watched this particular show before but that actually strikes me as very competent.
I hope our education system does more for our children than it did for these people.

I’m originally from Flint, Michigan, now you know why I don’t live there any longer. There are many good and intelligent people there unfortunately these were not them. I still live in Michigan but not there. VOTE BLUE. I know many children from there that still live there and trust me they are not terrified, that woman is too young to believe that crap. I don't live in your country. But I can see exactly what's happened to your country. You have an education system ruined by religion and too much parental power, over professional teachers. You mostly can't get a good education unless you already have money. But worse, there are swathes of the population which doesn't respect learning, doesn't go to school enough, doesn't pay attention, families who don't get it, don't care about education. We have a bit of this here in the UK, but nothing like on the scale of the MAGA cult. And that's the cause. Educated people don't watch Fox news, they don't feel powerless, they don't struggle on welfare on low pay. It's that simple.

We are talking about a country which can choose to teach creationism instead of evolution in many schools. But I agree with your asessment. In addition I think that there is a problem with underfunding of schools in many states, it goes back to the whole system itself with low taxes and very low wages for many jobs. When a fulltime job is not enough to live on they can of course not be taxed more and many become desperate or disillusioned. It’s the extreme polarisation of the wealthiest, the corporations who have both most of the money, power and now human rights (that’s also completely nuts in my view) and the poorest. In the US you can however end up on the streets even if you are lucky to get a good higher education if you become ill, there are basically no safety nets. Coupled with religion, racism and rightwing propaganda this becomes a hot mess.
I’m from Norway and very grateful that our higher education is basically free, both colleges and universities so anyone can study no matter what background they have. I hope it remains this way.

Posting from New Zealand and don't worry we are being tested right now as well with a new extreme right wing govt making massive spending cuts and pushing up crime unemployment and homeless but they're also attacking the indigenous Maori who live on average 10 years less than white people and yet they've totally cut the Maori health programs so the gap will go out to 20 years shorter life for Maori which of course is what our racist govt is trying to do. I hope the US won’t have to have a horrible war to realise that destructive propaganda is not the same as free speech. We learned that in Europe thanks to the horrors of WWII. I’m worried too, the world dosen’t have time for a Trump dictatorship or a permanently unstable US an inch a way from autocracy, we are facing too many serious crisis globally. Education is the best antidote, but while it’s lacking and massive propaganda is allowed I fear that the problem will remain.
