    CBR of Non-Plastic Soil is 28.091/D60 not 75/D60. You wrote wrong numerator for CBR of Non-Plastic Soil.

      Yes, it is 28.091 and not 75. Thanks

    How to find out hcv and mcv

    • @SatishIITR
      @SatishIITR  ปีที่แล้ว

      Full size trucks and buses are kept in the category of Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCV) and tractor trailer and medium size trucks are kept in MCV.

    • @monishanc09
      @monishanc09 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sir in this code book last one prblm is given in that hcv they have taken as 9 and mcv as 38
      I am not getting how thy got that

    • @SatishIITR
      @SatishIITR  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@monishanc09 Given data is like this. Total ADT = 761, HCV = 9 and MCV = 55. Now calculated ADT is 531, and therefore HCV will be 38 and HCV = 6, reduced proportionatly. I hope it is clear now.

      Okie sir tqsm I got it
      I have one more question how will We get esal as 16.35

    • @SatishIITR
      @SatishIITR  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@monishanc09 HCV = 6, MCV = 38, assume equal proportion of laden and unladen vehicles and take VDF values from table given in Section 3.4.4.
      2.86x3+0.34x19 = 15.04 for laden vehicles
      0.31x3 + 0.02x19 = 1.31 for unladen vehicles
      15.04 + 1.31 = 16.35
