Game Breaking Bug?

- So, after fiddling about a lot: It happens, when the story mission locks your fast traveling capabilities, but you manually GRAV drive to a settled system and the police arrests you. you afterwards cannot travel anywhere anymore. Only solution is to strictly follow the story content until fast travel is unlocked again.
I will report it as a bug to Bethsoft.

Das ganze Spiel ist ein Fehler, besonders der Kauf ;) Am besten noch die 100€ Version gekauft. Der Hype um das Spiel wird nicht lange halten, da es recht öde bzw. eintönig ist/wird, das beste ist wohl die Hauptstory. Aber die Modderszene gibt es ja auch noch, ja die Leute müssen den Dreck wegräumen, unbezahlt. Mein Tipp, nicht sofort Spiele kaufen, erstmal abwarten, Reviews ansehen und dann erst entscheiden.
I had a few powers left to fine and tried to do so by switching back to the main story but that still didn't fix it for me. I'm also at the end of The Main story "One Giant Leap" just not ready to finish yet was doing some unfinished side quests.
Broken for me too. I went to Zelazny for a mission, took over another ship and now can’t travel anywhere other than round in circles. So essentially it’s game over.

O mesmo e depois de tantos meses não consertaram. Tentei de tudo e não consigo pousar a nave e fazer viagens rápidas de jeito nenhum. Preso no espaço literalmente. Insano um bug destes ainda persistir depois de tanto tempo
Hi, I'm having the same difficulty as you. Like you, I've done a complete check, and I'm certain that neither my personal inventory nor that of my ship is cluttered. We're not at the same stage of the main quest; I'm currently at level 16. I noticed this problem when I boarded a stolen ship, which was required for a side quest (I didn't steal the ship just for fun). Afterwards, I was able to use the fast travel function, just like you, by selecting other quests, located on destinations theoretically accessible by fast travel (white line known route etc...). I managed to get close to the location where I had to validate my quest, and I completed several dialogue steps (to validate my quest, I had to go through a series of steps). I got the next quest and returned to my original ship, but the problem persists: I can't fast travel and I can't land either. This is really frustrating, because if it's because I've interrupted the progress of the main quest, it's really disappointing. Especially in my case, where I chose not to advance any further because of a fight that is essential for the continuation of the main quest. The enemy in question is level 32, whereas I'm only level 16, which makes the fight excessively difficult. In short, I'm completely stuck !
I've encountered a new bug, new to me... I now have 3 ships I can't fly because it's like they don't have any engines at all. 👍 THANKS BETHESDA
My bug is often the HUD when i'm flying the ship is gone on 0:13 I don't know why
and sometimes I can't shoot or do anything unless I press "E" and leave the seat then comeback.
Anyone has this bug too or i'm the only one?
lvl 30 and locked down in The Den. Was fine until I used technician to scroll through my 9 ships. In a stolen class C and have also stopped progressing main story. Normal crew mates went to Eye. Started the UC Crimson fleet quest while they were gone, so do not have to listen to them complaining about it. Interrupted that quest because forgot to un-wait Vasco & needed him to carry stuff. Got sidetracked & then started back up into the Unfinished business for Stroud. The tech at the Den no longer has option to sell/buy ships. Geez!
My fast travel locked after The Empty nest mission. Walked back to my ship. Took off now I can’t land anywhere. says “fast travel is currently unavailable” every time to anywhere. I switched objectives back and forth. smh just lost in space.

I heard it’ll reset if you wait/sleep for 72 hrs. I’m currently searching for somewhere to dock so I can try it. @sexyboyjr5961

I just had this issue on my tracker alliance mission I play 3rd person view. I found a reddit a while back because I couldn't access my workbench and they said to go back into 1st person and try to access it. And it worked I did the same while trying to land on akila and it worked. Hopefully this helps who ever in the future. Last night I was gonna lose my mind but luckily this morning I randomly remembered that trick and it saved my playthrough so far
I am currently having this issue after being forced to use the spacer ship to leave the Space Station for the first Tracker Alliance mission. I was able to grav jump to Cheyenne, but I can’t land anywhere or even travel to other planets. Reloading different saves in the mission doesn’t seem to fix this either.
@RabidMouser did you try to get up go and change to 1st person view and then try landing??
I've played over 400 hours and Saturday October 28th i was doing some dog fight, playing on my Xbox Series X and jumping from planet to planet then suddenly the game star crashing . Now i can't travel anywhere with my ship , if try the game crashes . It was a ship i built . I switched to a ship i bought and it's the same issue . I tried playing on my Rog Ally and tried using Cloud gaming and it's the same issue . Now i'm just stuck in Alpa Centauri . I can fast travel to all the different cities in Alpha Centauri i.e. Residential District, The lodge etc. but i can't go anywhere using my ship . I can take off in my ship but then it goes to the loading screen and the game crashes and go back to my Xbox Home Screen .
I’m having same issue I was in the middle of the “Red Mile Run” and I fast travel to my penthouse in new Atlantis to gather weapons that I forgot and now I can’t “take off” from space port
Anyone knows how to fix this? i tried getting arrested, changing the ships, sleeping, doing other misions, but still having the same bug.
I know of nothing. Just loading an older save helps.
@@avavii i didn't know this was a thing so i tried sleeping and going to a ship in orbit a couple of times, those things make new autosaves so i have no prior files. Hope they can fix it with a patch or something.

@@avavii yes i will try that. they say that i play on no disc so thats the problem.
Bethesda needs to pull there heads out of there asses and fix the game. This is bullshitto.
Only thing you can do to fix it is loading up an earlier saved game and if your a few ranks below from your last save well buddy you got two options either suck it and replay that large portion or just put the control down and touch grass
Attack a ship and get yourself arrested. It'll take you to the nearest planet. If your main story mission is at Jemison then shoot a ship while in its orbit.
Having the same prob. On the last legs of the first bounty quest..says enimies in the area.. yet my tracking doesn't show any .. can't land. What the fuck is this.. what did they say? 20 years to create a game that bugs out?
Yup I am at the point before I board the Scorpius and I wanna go level up and other stuff before getting into endgame now I can shoot other ships and can't fast travel anywhere was there a fix?
So I just decided to go back enough into previous level to the mission before boarding the Scorpius and now I can shoot and fast travel 🙄 so basically just load back further till everything works normally again I lost a level so just be aware of that idk any other fixes

If you can’t fast travel, open the console command:
Type ‘DumpInputEnableLayers’ then hit Enter.
You should see a list of three or four numbered Layers, find the Layer that has Fast Travel listed.
Type ‘ResetInputEnableLayer NUMBER’ with the number of the layer where it says NUMBER, then hit Enter.
You should be able to fast travel after this.
For me too fix is I got form level 36 to 17..
Same and I’m not doing that
I’m going to start hard saving after finishing a quest line moving forward
